⁉ What is this series?
This is Texture Packs of the Month! Each month, I'll be covering the latest, most downloaded, and most interesting Texture Packs & Resource Packs that were released for Minecraft. This series will always cover releases from the previous month, so a video released in April will cover releases from March, and so on. I'll also be covering it for the latest versions of Minecraft, but most Texture Packs work between multiple versions anyway.
⁉ What are the Shaders?
I'm using Complementary Shaders. Inside the Shader Options is how I achieve the depth of field effects. No special settings are chosen; it's just on the High preset.

cuz the quality of the voice and the tone is generally just kinda sus

I started watching your channel yesterday, truly amazing work.
Deep Dark Overworld reminds me of a mod idea I had where the Overworld has an alternate plane of existence for spirits a la the Spectral Realm in Legacy of Kain. It would be like a warped version of the physical Overworld that's home to entities you can't see in the physical plane. Players (and perhaps pets, too) would end up in this plane after death and may need to reach their spawn points while avoiding evil spirits to spawn back in the physical plane. Like in LoK, everything physical is an immovable object to spirits and couldn't be interacted with, unless it's a physical entity that could be possessed somehow. If you guys know any similar mods (for MC 1.18+ preferably), lemme know.
Your videos are great! I didnt realize there were so many dope texture packs these days either, i usually just use mods. ill definitely be trying the vanilla overhaul pack!

Great Vid, would love more of that! One thing though, you might need to put "optifine required" in the top corner of your vid for some of the packs as it can be disappointing to just download an amazing pack and not have it work because of that.

@@cryo7730 There's 2 possibilities: his voice is TTS, or he's using Adobe's "Podcast Enhance" stuff. In the previous video he said "moms" instead of mods, which makes me think its the ladder.

Because I was just watching some old footage and saw aomeone with your skin.
It kinda feels like most texture packs nowadays revolve around photo realism, model enhancement/replacement, or just making the vanilla textures "HD."
I want a change in atmosphere, the underdark pack does that really well, but I want something more like the painterly stuff. Anyone know where I can find that kinda thing?

it is just sad that most Resource packs that changes mobs depends on Optifine
I've recently switched from OptiFine to Rubidium + Oculus, and I'm missing OF's graphical features already. Sadly, switching to Fabric, which has alternative mods for OF, is not an option for me.
