Maybe it has something to do with which drink was given to them first. My theory is that they went to the first drink and established one of those pheromone roads earlier and thats why they prefered one over the other.
interesting! personally i can barely tell the difference between coke and pepsi! it was nice to see them sharing it too :) it's very hard to tell but maybe the tiny animal was some kind of mite? hopefully not a harmful one

Thankfully it seems to be a grain mite, but next time you give them insects, put the insects in boiling water as parasitic mites are spread when ants eat insects that have parasitic mites on them.

In my class we raised butterfly and we also fed them. I heard that they only need sugar for their whole lives! So then after they grew up we let them go...
Haven't watched it yet I'd say Pepsi because it has more sugar in it. The first one you put more Pepsi that coke and that's why it was eaten(Coke) first. But it looks like they like both equal for the most part I very much enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up

In the United States, I think ants would be drawn more to Pepsi because it has a higher concentration of sugar in the formula. I always enjoyed the aroma of Coca-Cola more, but I only liked the taste of the fountain beverage you could get at fast-food restaurants, not the canned variety - it has more flavor when made from the commercial syrup
dont over feed the ajts as it coud cayse mold formation and i suggest you could reduce the ant nest space as they will dump their garbage at the empty chambers.these ants are camponotus sp. and are slow growing so please make more vids abt ants i want an update❤❤

The very small bug is a nat. Nats are super small so when you touch them they die. They are also harmless! At where I live there is plenty of it.
