Loved this place! Used to live on West End Avenue in Manhattan beach and started windsurfing there in the early eighties. Used to bring my board out through the window of my second floor apartment. Rockaway is the land you see in the distance. Kingsborough College really close by where the security guards would warn us off their beach if we landed for a rest. No one owns the waterline!. Great memories and films on WHS which I have yet to copy to a modern format. Danny, Charlie, miss all you guys at the beginning of these water sports.
