Taxi from Puerto Plata airport will go for 30-45 min - depend on traffic and cost $40-50.
Hello, we are thinking to go to this resort for christmas, from poland. Do you recommend it ? Is it very windy on the beach ? Thank you
Most of the days is not very windy. Wind 10-15 knots, some afternoons may go to 20 knots. It is not a problem on the beach(no sand flying in the air). I’m not sure if I can recommend it. For kitesurfers it is perfect, however if you just looking for a beach, nice pools and great food, you will find better place in Punta Cana or Purto Plata.

Loved this place! Used to live on West End Avenue in Manhattan beach and started windsurfing there in the early eighties. Used to bring my board out through the window of my second floor apartment. Rockaway is the land you see in the distance. Kingsborough College really close by where the security guards would warn us off their beach if we landed for a rest. No one owns the waterline!. Great memories and films on WHS which I have yet to copy to a modern format. Danny, Charlie, miss all you guys at the beginning of these water sports.

Mooie video. Ik ga volgende maand naar Curacao. Hoe heb je je drone meegenomen? Heb je toestemming en/of papieren daarvoor nodig? En zo ja, hoe heb je dat geregeld? En heb je gekite daar? Hoe was de wind?
Ik gebruik "Google translate" om te antwoorden en heb geen idee of het zin heeft. Je hebt geen toestemming/papierwerk nodig om een drone naar Curaçao te brengen.Ja, ik vlieger daar. 9 van de 11 dagen wind was erg goed - meer dan 15 knopen. Check mijn andere video over NIX Kiteschool.
