    Narcissists may present to you the perfect smile and image to try and fool you, but if your intuition is strong you will pick-up on their true intentions through their toxic energy !!

    Wow, narcissists can be dangerous in many ways to the people around them. I had to deal with this within family circles, and it was exhausting and very confusing at times. Im so glad I made the choice to take myself out of the equation. I'm still healing and now I know what to look for and how to stay far away from narcissistic people!

    Omg! You Described 1 of my exes to the t, with no goals or awareness, just floating through life and acting like the victim. When I started to find narcissistic videos on RUclips, oh my, you should've seen her fn face.😅 She knew exactly who she was. She tried to call me a narcissist the 1st time I even found out about it; she threw the label on me, and it took me a while to realize it was her. I was so naive. Oh man, this is scary. 1 day, they make you feel so sorry for them that you would want to stay, and then just the next day, they treat you like a piece of trash. This is also why she couldn't believe people were who they were. Because wearing a mask was her norm 😂, dam I slept with the devil.

    Authenticity & Inauthenticity at the root is stimulated by the way in which you handle life's difficulties. Lifes' difficulties shape your character. Inauthentic people and narcissistic people from my experience usually have a very telling look on there face. I would classify it as the, " Yeah, I'm wrong and I know it face". That's the face they reveal when they have played their games with someone authentic and the games just won't work so they resort to blatant BS. I've been going through this my entire life. I should write a book.

    Imho: men and women have an equal incidence of narcissism. BOTH my parents were narcissistic & my siblings followed suit (2 brothers & 2 sisters). Yes, I had some narcissistic traits but outgrew them in my 20’s - am 71 now.

      You do bring up an interesting point. You can evolve over time -- in some cases -- if narcissistic behaviors are not severe or on the higher end of things. And if you weren't clinically diagnosed as narccist, it may not have been that at all!

    Wow! U & I are feeling of the same when it comes to women. I've had many female friends. I find women love to smile in your face, but men sometimes do the same. I had narcissistic traits because I was raised in a narcissistic family. I have very little contact with my DNA Relatives! I hate being around fake ppl too. I can't be fake because I can't remember what lies I tell from one day to the next. I let ppl think what they want to think about me. I'm a Tomboy like u. I have to remind my husband that I'm his wife & not his brother. We watch a lot of sports together. Thank u so much for this video. It took me over 40 years to truly learn who I was. I really had different personalities. I thank GOD for changing me into what he wanted me to be & not what my DNA relatives had made me become. U have actually put a smile on my face. I see now it's ok to be a grown up tomboy. Be Blessed my Sister!!!

    She chooses garbage and tells me.She does not want to improve anything in life

    What you are describing sounds like complacency or being self satisfied. It is an impediment to personal growth.

    • @TherapistTamaraHill
      @TherapistTamaraHill  2 месяца назад +3

      It can be perceived that way, yes. The reality, however, is that these people are not just complacent. They are manipulative and hoping to change how people see the real them.

    I think you can have narcissistic traits and not be a full blown narcissist. Someone who asks themselves if they are a narcissist, may have traits, but at least they can start working on themselves. I have the trait where if someone else is shining and outdoing me, I feel very threatened and like I don't exist. I know this is a narcissistic trait to feel that unstable. Because I have empathy, I do not try to destroy the other person in any way (ok, I may put them down in my head, but not to them or to other people), I do not try to compete. I used to leave the situation either actually leaving it, or escaping like substance abuse or when I was healthier isolating myself. I now just pray and take a deep breath and tell myself I can still exist in the same space with someone "better" than me. It is not easy. Ok, I still throw myself into my art or away from people when it is too much. So on the one hand I am a narcissist, but I am aware and won't hurt other people because of it.

    How about te psychic part.for instance. I saw one waiting for me. I knew what she looked like. I knew where she was. I walked a couple of blocks and opened a door to a bar/pool had. She was sitting in the back wearing and looking directly at the door. She got up,walked to me through a crowd. Game on. Fiancee then discard. Disappeared and showed up two years later. Tried to hoover me. I walked.

    Is there really a difference between female and male narcissists?? I’m not sure there really is. I just think that societal norms do not expect narcissistic behaviour in women and therefore female narcissists (particularly the covert type), perhaps are more likely to fly under society’s radar.

    • @TherapistTamaraHill
      @TherapistTamaraHill  2 месяца назад

      There is, sadly, a difference between genders. While most women would not be categorized as narcissistic, some are and they tend to be "grown up mean girls" in different environments. They are also narcissistic in different ways that makes them less obvious than men.
      I will post this article, on female narcissism, here for you and others to take a look at: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9578082/
