So sorry y’all have been sick. We just got over our second round of it a few days ago. Had the horrible version that almost killed my hubby in 2020. But this was no pic nic either. Glad your doing better !
Glad you’re feeling better! My partner and I also just got over covid recently. It was awful and we’re still pretty exhausted. Make sure to do lots of self care. The food looks great!
My partner and I had Covid end of April start of May. He had an awful cough for weeks after, even had EMT Ambulance out to him. They advised best thing to take was Antihistamines, we use Piriton in the UK. Apparently it helps get rid of the lung and sinus inflammation, probably what you are feeling in the back of your nose. I Hooe you both feel better soon, much love. Caz x
Sorry to hear that you both came down with it, glad you are on the mend. My daughter, her husband and 3 kids all came down with it and they have had every shot and booster. She said the cough was what hung on the longest for her and husband, the kids got over it quicker. Luckily neither my mother (88) or I have gotten it, even though we were with them the day before they knew the first one was sick with it. Hope you feel better soon.
I’m so sorry you were sick and glad you are feeling better. I have to say this might be one of my favorite videos you have done. Loved the unboxings and try ons. This was such a great laid back vibe and you seemed so relaxed and comfortable. Wishing you both a speedy recovery.
Getting sick sucks! My cough dragged out for two weeks after I was up and about...thought it might be because I used to smoke but my granddaughter was the same. Glad you're feeling better...fairly new to your channel and love it!
Me, my husband, and 2 young kiddos all had Covid a month and a half ago. Our coughs stuck around for an insane amount of time... as in weeks after we felt better. It was annoying!
Thank you for the vlog. Hope you two are feeling better. Your symptoms describe exactly what I suffered with covid last October. My cough went on for a month longer after i got a negative response. It's gone now, but big hugs and wish you well xxx
I had a lingering cough and the nose thing you guys were talking about for 2 weeks after I was cleared from covid. I actually didn't get my smell back until a couple months after I was cleared. Crazy covid man
So sorry you kids have been sick. This is our go-to whenever we feel the signs in the back of throat of a cold coming on. Here's a recipe for a cough formula that will not only calm a cough, but also open the lungs and dilate the blood veins and arteries to lower blood pressure. Mix Hershey's cocoa powder -- the unDutched kind in the classic, brown box -- with date syrup until you have a thick, brownie batter-like consistency. Keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and take a small spoonful as needed. Let it melt down the back of the throat to coat it. According to Dr. Michael Greger, when tested, Hershey's cocoa was as strong a cough suppressant as codeine, without the opiates. It's also nootropic. Date syrup and unDutched cocoa are full of nutrients and polyphenols. Date syrup has a low glycemic index and doesn't spike the blood sugar, which makes it perfect for neutralizing the bitter, raw cocoa. This is a cough suppressant that doesn't make you stupid. Try not to to eat it all as candy and save it for when you really need it. Enjoy!
I had the covid cough for like 30 days after I was done being sick and I am a teacher so it was a struggle :-( hopefully it doesn’t last too long for y’all!
Whoa that soup looks amazing! I thought I had Covid but it ended up being bronchitis. After a month cough starting to go away. The coughing fits are bad. I’m glad that you both are feeling better!
If you have allergies 🤧 like I do ,,,.. the coughing might be in part of Covid and allergies at the same time , try taking some allergy medicine as well It may help
Have you tried putting your cilantro in a glass with some water. I do that and it makes my cilantro last for quite some time as long as you regularly change out the water every few days or so.
I’m glad you got some unboxing to do. Good therapy. Of course it’s been a long time since you made this, so too late now, but it really looks like taking the recovery super slowly is the best way. Im not in your body, but like think about 1/3 of what you’d normally do in a day???
Glad you guys are feeling better. The coughing fits are probably from the post-nasal drip and air coming in.... like a tickle. It's so annoying! When I had covid, dizziness and nausea was the worst. I also kept a low grade fever for 2 weeks. My sense of smell still isn't all the way back yet (9 months later). The bonus was I lost 10lbs (that I needed to loose). 😉
Sorry that Chris & Jasmine have been sick. I usually get sick when I am too stressed and been eating too much of a vegan processed foods diet so dominantly are vegan WFPB because it's what my body thrives on. The food is amazing & 😋. Get well soon and sending love 💕 & hugs 🤗 to Chris & Jasmine. Love 🥰 the video.
Glad you guys are feeling better! Also Yasmin, you‘ve worn that top before from the intro sequence and it’s GORGEOUS- would you mind telling us where it’s from? 🥰
Hahahaha...Mack daddy! Selling anything is always challenging. We've sold several cars & 2 rvs. Great discussion with options for everyone. Lou & Angir
Wow I got sick around the same time. I couldn’t move and had fever and a massive headache and cough. I took the Covid-19 test a week ago and of course it came back positive+ 😝(I’ve successfully avoided being sick from Covid for almost 2 years) then it hits me like a Mac truck out of no where. I’m diligently wearing my face mask on again every where I go, especially indoors. Thanks for sharing your recipes. I couldn’t eat for over a week. My throat was so sore it was the worst symptom I had was my sore throat. My fever went down and muscle and body aches went down but the throat and cough was my worst symptoms. Also being very very weak with no energy to cook.
I'm definitely wearing my mask everywhere. It's been super hard for me to go maskless as I've seen folks coughing and sneezing in the stores without a mask. I just feel safe behind a mask (I’m using a medical mask, not cloth).
Jasmine and Chris , Your videos always give me a dose of HAPPY...and it seems that today I'm in need of some...cannot figure out why I'm in this funky / very dark mood right now. Your tamarind hot & sour recipe sounds delicious and healthy. Perhaps it's what I ought to make for myself too, and thank you for sharing that recipe on your blog. I genuinely hope that you're back to feeling great very, very soon🐦.
Try to eat pumkin seeds, sunflower seeds, natural vitamin c, flaxseeds. Sweet potatoe, carrots and Bell peppers. That Will help your inmune sistem. Sorry for My English 🙈.
I just recovered from covid and I have had the worst food aversions, which has make me loose 5 pounds from being so sick. Covid is still no joke people, even if your fully vaccinated.
I can't eat spicy things, and I can tell you that CHILI FLAKES is by far the worst chili to eat for my IBS. Just split the salad in half and make half of it without the damn chili!!!
So sorry y’all have been sick. We just got over our second round of it a few days ago. Had the horrible version that almost killed my hubby in 2020. But this was no pic nic either. Glad your doing better !
Happy your feeling better. I personally love your life updates. 100% agree, concrete is sooo expensive!
This was very comforting and timely since I’m glued to bed sick with a terrible cold! Sending good health to us all 🙌🏼

That's good y'all making healthy food for sick days I do the same thing, but different.
Glad you're on the mend. Yes, the cough can linger for a little bit.
Me, my husband, and 2 young kiddos all had Covid a month and a half ago. Our coughs stuck around for an insane amount of time... as in weeks after we felt better. It was annoying!

We are sick at our house too. Comfort food is the best thing when you are sick! I love a good vegan Mac and cheese!
I’m sorry you got sick. Hope you totally recover soon. Love your videos and the soup looks so delicious 😋.

A smoothie sounds amazing. Going to make one right now 🏃♀️
Whoa that soup looks amazing! I thought I had Covid but it ended up being bronchitis. After a month cough starting to go away. The coughing fits are bad. I’m glad that you both are feeling better!
My hubby and I just got over Covid too! I have a lingering headache, and really low energy. We’re having a hard time walking up stairs at home 🤪
If you have allergies 🤧 like I do ,,,.. the coughing might be in part of Covid and allergies at the same time , try taking some allergy medicine as well
It may help

I am just getting over covid as well, yes lingering throat irritation, cough, and that nasal stuff, and lingering fatigue.
Feel 100%soon!! 🍲 Wishing you the best.

Chris forgot the hemp hearts!!!
I have Covid right now, surprised by how hungry I have been throughout it? Cough is definitely the worst part
Me too. watching Jasmine and Chris from the couch coughing and struggling to breathe through my nose. How long will this last?
I wish I looked as gorgeous as Jasmine even when she is sick.
It's so funny Chris said Jasmine's purse looks like a canteen... I have a purse thats the same shape and I call it my "canteen purse"😂😂
Both look good
AKA Covid I believe?
Fyi guys...I see comments from Amen Rody on several channels. Crazy
