You seem like a good guy and I can't understand why you have gotten colon cancer at such a young age. The Bible's most insightful passage is so profoundly true is as follows: I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:11. I guess it's just time and chance; you didn't do anything wrong, time and chance happened as it can to anyone. Thank you for sharing and please stay strong.
I’m going to need liver surgery just like you. Same diagnosis. Is the surgery totally opening you up? I’ve already had abdominal surgery for the colon. Can’t imagine being sliced open again. Was hoping they could do it laparoscopically
Hi Denise, they did mine laparoscopically. Just a few small incisions. The recovery wasn’t too bad, I think I went home after 2 or 3 days. Ask your surgeon if it’s laparoscopic. Hope everything goes smoothly! You will be fine.
