You should try "cd /tmp/droidcam" and run the command again

I don't know why, but after using the pulse-audio command the config option of my ubuntu just disappeared, so I needed to reinstall it. My audio stoped workig as well, but that's because the audio device changed, then I just switched it back to the original.

Don't know man, haven't tried, if it is not build for Windows 10 specifically, then their is a chance with Wine.

Note: Only standard 64-bit binaries are provided. You’ll need to compile the client from source if you are running a 32-bit or ARM based system.
Droidcam warns you with this information. You are probably running the 64-bit under ARM or 32-bit architecture. So do check that and the permission for execution.
It worked for google meet, although this is the main thing I wanted it, but it is not working in 'Cheese' app,
In google meet it worked because there is a section to choose the camera, (since I already have a web cam in my laptop, so it was set to default ) I had to change it for google meet in the meet window itself.

You can do that using scrcpy.
Great vid. But how to connect with USB cable? Phone app only seems to show WiFi. Sorry if overlooked anything.
There are options to choose from USB or Wireless.
@@LinuxH2O Thx, I saw that in the desktop side of the connection, but could not locate any option to switch to USB in phone app, including settings. Maybe I have to purchase the Pro version of the phone app. Also, I'm an idiot, but still...
You can choose the connectivity option from the pop up window. I don't think you need to get a pro version to use the functionality.
Aloha LinuxH20, Any chance you can make a YT video on DroidCam install for Chromebook(Chrome OS) Debian Linux? There are instruction in Droidcam instruction for Debian install. However I could not get it to work, Debian Cli newbee....
Unfortunately, I don't own a Chromebook.

When you open the Droidcam, it should not be showing any warning ⚠️ or error.
Also, check in 5he terminal for log error.
./install-video: line 12: make: command not found

Use your package manager to install it:
Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt install unzip
Arch/Manjaro: sudo pacman -S unzip
RHEL/Fedora: sudo dnf install unzip

Many times, it's just luck to find wallpapers.
So don't have any websites in mind, simply do some searches on the internet and then follow them.
