Love the Kirby 2001! Including the Treasury Edition. I sold all my NM/M copies bought off the newsstand during the boom. Good money, but I miss the comics.
Absolutely amazing the books you have acquired! It’ll be my first claim sale with you guys on Tuesday, excited to join you. I absolutely love high grade Charlton books.
What an incredible set of books! I don’t know where to begin. Weird War, Phantom Stranger, All Star Comics and some amazing high grade Charlton horror. Wow!
Brilliant!✨ Your approach to collecting has rubbed off on me. For some time now only looking for very high grade books, early to mid 70s, irrespective of whether or not they are hot. It’s become an obsession. Great to see this ⭐️
I'd be interested in seeing how you grade books through the scale, from poor, to nearmint plus. As well as how factory and/or packaging defects bring a book grade down in mild or severe instances. There is one I see now and then, a set of indentations, close to the staples, yet wider, on the 20c covers of The Unexpected. It almost seems like there was somewhat of a 'guide' used to line the book up for stapling. Then there are those 'train tracks' that run right across the covers.
There is a newsstand variant of that speed racer special. I wonder how many of the 10 graded copies on the census are the newsie? The 9.6 SS on ebay you spoke of is a 1/1 btw.
It was a mistake; I had the sticker on the wrong book. I saw it too when the video posted. A big, fat Color breaking spine tick on a black cover. That issue is a 9.4. I got around 10 NM/M, about 12 NM+ and about 10 NM so far on the books I have processed from that run. It’s years of storage.
I would be so scared to have naked unwrapped raw books outside in Western Washington. Rain could hit like a meteor on a book! I’m buying something tomorrow for sure though!
I actually saw that too and downgraded it. I think I put that sticker on the wrong book because there wans an obvious color break on the spine. It’s actually a 9.4.
I loved Charlton Comics so much growing up.
Oh yeah! I loved reading E-Man back when they first came out. I think am missing #2 and #8.
My husband and I watch y'all all the time. We love y'all. I love that a father daughter have a great hobby/business together. Y'all make me happy

You should make sure the book binder has coverage on the back board.

Groo the Wanderer. There’s one I had forgotten about! 🎉
What an incredible set of books! I don’t know where to begin. Weird War, Phantom Stranger, All Star Comics and some amazing high grade Charlton horror. Wow!
Some of the cleanest books Ive seen. Wow congrats on that purchase and for being so transparent.
Really beautiful books. I’m kind of like you. I don’t know if I could turn loose of them or not.

You see the quality in things, gotta respect that……it’s not always about the keys. I love keys but I love higher grade
Awesome video. The books look incredible.
I love your passion and transparency.
E-Man was a cool series...think one of few they printed all ten of series under Charlton title and then later reprinted all 10 under Modern lable..
...my kidney for a 9.8 Charlton Ghost Manor 23
..as fate would have it, the highest certified copy popped up on MCS two days after i posted my comment.
Love watching your videos I'm from washington too, do you guys have a comic shop

You and your daughter are beautiful people. And I love how you collect
The invaders 24 has a color breaking spine tick on it, not NM/MT

I remember NOW comics and First comics as well……I grew up in the 80’s

For some reason...people who live in Washington state are liberal democrats, people who don't know shit about being a Patriot American!
Highly recommend David, I have dealt with him over the years and not one problem super nice guy :)
My man!
😍😍😍A Groo sighting 😮
Wow, those are some nice looking books!
They are!
Bringing mint condition books outside!
I too like to live dangerously!
Killer Invaders Covers
16 long boxes
What is a good guide for grading for beginners?
We use the over street guide for grading and the CGC guide
Hey do you only sell in claim sales or can I buy from you individually
Too much wear on that top corner on the Invaders 29 for it to be a 9.8...you're looking at a 9.6 on a good day, maybe 9.4 depending on the grader
