I’m so used to delays, this doesn’t even really bother me if it makes it a better product in the end. Ubisoft needs a W and I hope this means it’s gonna be one.
Launching 2 weeks before Monster Hunter is rough, but considering the recent launch of the weird little merch piece that resembles the shrine to the nuclear bombing of Nagasaki, it's for the best that they delayed so that's not quite so fresh in anyone's minds when the game launches.
I hope that this delay is them looking at the reaction to Star Wars: Outlaws and trying to figure out how to make sure that reaction doesn't happen again. That being said, I hope they don't put the release date into a situation where there are other huge choices that outshine it.
Unfortunately, with Monster Hunter, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Dynasty Warriors coming out around the same time, they're looking at a lot of competition.
If they need more time to put out a finished and polished game, then let's hope it's done right. Better to have less bugs and more optimizations on launch. I liked the series, but halfway through 3 I was getting a little tired of the games. Feudal Japan sounds like fun, though!
This is going to be a big deal for them! We've been waiting for a Feudal Japan AC since the first game! I hope it's good but I'm not going to hold my breath.
As much as I rather a developer to take their time and making the game good and be well played, but I personally feel this is going be a risky move on Ubisoft part. Especially with a lot of heavy hitters coming out in 2025. I also wonder if they are trying to compete with Ghost of Yotei which is also coming out in 2025, since a lot of reviewers has been comparing Shadows with Ghost of Tsushima. Overall Ubisoft, please, dot your I's and cross your T's and just make this the best AC ever.
I’m sad I’ve been patiently waiting they changed the release day a couple times, but I get it they want this game to be the best it can be for us players
I think people forget that these AC open world RPGs always sell well. Valhalla made them SO much money. It might not be a great game, but it will sell. It hurts them to miss the holiday season, but it's different enough from anything coming out around the same time that it will still do massive numbers. I will thoroughly enjoy the game, but it will still most likely be mid, especially if you don't like the AC open world RPG formula.
Take your time to polish the game up. I like the idea of it. If they’re shooting for realistic maps I think this could be good for the game. Flip side, I could see how this could also be a detriment to the games reaction too.
'If the cake ain't ready don't bring it out of the oven' - sure we might be hungry but we all hope it is going to taste as good as it looks. I feel too many games are coming out unfinished and unpolished and what could have been a better 'taste' for consumers just leaves a sour taste in our mouths and disappointment on our faces. If they need more time then hopefully they get done what needs to be done.
I'll be happy with the delay if it actually ends up hitting hard when it comes out. If not, ubisoft will be in some real pain. - Bnanamanmanaananamamanamaanamanma_man
This is corporate double speak. They are in the middle of a PR disaster amid financial crisis. Ubi doesnt care about optimization and they never have. Oh and never "worry" about a corp. They would erase you and your family at the slightest hint of financial gain. In minecraft of course 😉
Oh Ubisoft.. as Star Wars: Outlaws wasn’t good game and cherry on top delaying Assassin’s Creed😅 I really hope this game is top notch when it comes out! Like of course take your time but don’t put so much hype for it not to be released in Nov anymore. Finger cross 🫣
What's your thoughts on the delay? For me, it's bittersweet.

Ubisoft needs the biggest W possible. Thanks for watching and the comment!
I got the logo tattooed on back of my hand and they bullshitting. 😆
I feel you, my dude! Hey, we can all agree that there was a time when Assassin's Creed was peak gaming! Let's cross our fingers for this one.
Wild, not shocked though
The sad thing is: I'm not shocked either. Thanks for the comment, Cave; hopefully they polish whatever they need to polish for the game.

Thanks for the comment! Ubisoft is definitely in trouble.

I read that it will have the option to play with Japanese voice acting, I like that. More development time is always good.
That would be really awesome!
Comes out the same month as kingdom come 2 and monster hunter wilds. It needs to be good for ubisoft sake
Agreed, dude! I feel like Ubisoft is trying to carry a huge rock uphill.
@@reesiekups for sure seems that way. Good video
@@michaelmartin2763 Thank you!

Ubisoft did the right thing to delaying Assassin Creeds Shadow so the game doesn’t get buggy glitches
I'm really hoping they take care of those bugs; I want the game to succeed but I'm not going to hold my breath.
@@reesiekups Yes I agree with you
@@BayoMayCry959 We'll be hopeful...from a distance. haha

A new Splinter Cell game will save them; I'm calling it now.
