I remember in 1998 when we Scaffold and Cannibal Corpse played together in our town Ljubljana (Slovenia) ☺️ At the time Jack was so cool and all Cann guys band was great
I know this is a dumb thing to say, but Jack doesn't seem like the type of guy that would be the guitarist in a DM band! He just doesn't. Oh, and the guitar parts in 'Decency Defied' are so fucking good. Insanely heavy, yet very memorable. If that was one of the tracks that he wrote for the album, then major props!
Deicide are just as crushing and brutal as cannibal corpse so I don't know wtf your talking about there one of the best death metal bands of all time there my number one favorite jack Owen wanted to join deicide cause from what his words was it felt like an old time job so him joining deicide was awesome along with Ralph from obituary which is another sick guitar player when it comes to solos so I'm not complaining he's still touch with CC I'm sure
Crate make some kick-ass amps! I wish I still had my 120-watt Blue Voodoo half stack. That thing had massive amounts of gain even before you switched on the 3rd (lead) channel.
Jack Owen is one of the greatest songwriters. He can truly make some catchy and brutal riffs.
