Absolutely fantastic. I'm normally not a huge fan of the 'exploded'/'floating' table designs, but gosh the end result is really really nice. I think the curves really make it stand out. The complete slab/no lamination on the top also so ace.
Every time I watch someone build something, their design and technique is always outshine by the beauty of the wood itself. That's no knock to your skill, I think you did great. But man, that walnut is beautiful.
Sean, you have a great balance of "get the show on the road" and slow enough to adequately explain details. So glad I found your channel, thank you! Best, @HoneyOnWales
Simple and elegant. The graceful curves and the 'floating' top really make this design pop. Well done. My late father was a master cabinet builder and I am sure he would have approved.
This is, breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous work. If I copy you... I will most likely leave the bent boards out bc I’m not smart enough to do that. And I imagine this will be worlds easier without the bends Hahahaha gorgeous work my friend
Wow! What a gorgeous piece of furniture, Sean! That walnut slab on top is just stunning. And I really like the curved sides. I wasn't sure how I would like them, but they're a nice touch.
SimpleCove Always bro and yeah I know what you mean lol I think it's been 6 months since my last video every time I think I have time to learn the new editing software I get another commission you know how that goes .LOVE the floating look..I look forward to seeing what you do next
I really like your design, it's brilliant. If you don't mind, I am thinking of copying it to make a table for ourselves. I am wondering if I need to do the curved lamination / bending or if I can cut them out of a single piece on the bandsaw. I guess you considered that so I wondered what you think?
I loved the project, and walnut is a beautiful wood to work with. My question is "Are you concerned about the top expansion due to humidity, and should you use figure 8's to help manage that? Or maybe use wide slots to hold your screws?
Beautiful piece of industrial art. What did you use for finish and why you used that particular finish. Thanks millions Greetings from North California.
If you have aprons under the top you don't need it. If you have a slab that's going to warp without c-channels it's most likely going to do it with the c-channels too. Make sure the slab is dry and acclimated and with aprons, you shouldn't need it. My riser blocks under the top have table top fasteners which holds the top to the base and anchors it down

Thanks Paul, much appreciated!
That table is really neat. I am not to familiar with floating Tables. But how long did it take to make that?

THAT'S AN AWESOME TABLE
Simple and elegant. The graceful curves and the 'floating' top really make this design pop. Well done. My late father was a master cabinet builder and I am sure he would have approved.

I elongated the holes using the 1/4" drill bit. Thanks for watching!
5:07 how did the table stand like that when u don't even glued it yet? I didn't notice u use any clamp
Good joinery.
Friend what kind of wood do you use for the table
Hi, do you sell plans / sketchup files for this build? Love the table.
Beautiful piece of industrial art.
What did you use for finish and why you used that particular finish.
Thanks millions
Greetings from North California.
I used General Finishes Arm-R-Seal semi-gloss. I used it because it's a great looking wiping varnish that's made of high quality components.
Nice 👍🏽. Any reason why you didn’t stabilize with c-channel? Looking to doing something similar with an oak slab I have.

How much would a table like this cost?
I really love the design, if you don't mind I would maybe replicate it for myself...
Go right ahead! Thank you.
Awesome build! But I must say, we mill live edge slabs and it pained me to watch you cut the edges off☹. Keep the videos coming. I love your work!
Great job with the table. How much did you pay for that walnut slap? That slap look so beautiful 😍
I mean slab
Thanks! I think for this slab, since it wasn't very tall, I paid $75.
How much does a table like this cost about ? Must be a fortune
so perfect until the mdf biscuits
Uh what? They're not mdf they are solid wood. Google Festool domino
I watched it twice.
Thanks!
You're a real inspiration mate. I watch a ton of videos to help learn and yours are incredible. Thank you and don't ever stop.
That means a lot, thank you.
"aaaah that's hot"
Very kihl
The material costs more then all my tools combined
