This video it's a great example of what would happen if the Mother series ever gets a racing game lol (seriously do more of these they look cool) 👍🏻

And the MrSaturn vehicle it's the modified pigmask army "hover car" you get in M3 but the phase distorter also sounds hilarious. Put some tiny wheels on it and boom it's a kart now. Hehe (or better yet act as a hover vehicle, too).
Funnily enough I was thinking about this exact same thing a few days ago. I'm convinced YT can read minds lmao EarthBound/Mother is a HUGE universe, kinda like the mario bros. universe where mario has games like kart, tennis, golf, party etc. so it's not that crazy to think about the idea of "EarthBound Kart" lol

Im real sleepy and thought the map was made in the shape of mr saturn the same way yoshi circuit is in the shape of yoshi. Now that im awake im sad that its not.
