SCP-015 Tale - Plumbing
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 22 сен 2024
- SCP 015 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as Pipe Nightmare.
SCP-015 is a mass of pipes, vents, boilers and other various plumbing apparatus completely filling a warehouse. The pipes appear to grow when not under observation, attempting to connect to nearby structures via sewer systems and underground plumbing.
SCP015 reacts to tools and aggression. Any personnel acting violently, carrying tools, or attempting to damage or repair SCP-015 in any way, will trigger a reaction. Any pipes near the subject will burst, spraying on the subject for several seconds before the flow suddenly stops.

The foundation really should psychologically evaluate their own agents instead of just sending them into the mission.
They DO. Human minds just aren't designed to deal with these sorts of things too well. Everyone that could just take this sort of thing straight to the chin probably got promoted out of field service 15 - 100 years ago. This is a real issue with IRL organizations, too; The better you are the further away from the action you're promoted.
They actually do. It's what the not too talked about E-Class is for. They almost always psychologically evaluate agents before and after every dangerous mission. That's just the sad thing about the SCP universe, it's similar to Eldritch Horrors. Almost no one is truly equipped mentally to deal with such horrors, and the few that are usually die anyway or are smart enough to get themselves as far away from said horrors
Yeah, the entire tragedy of last task force came to be because of one impatient operative who did not fit in the group. Psychological evaluation should point out that impulsive big guy doesn't get along with a scientist and dutiful and obedient soldier. Why did they even send a big guy into this mess of narrow passages?
@@BloodHoundPL because then you can set up the wacky mismatched team hijinks
They do yes, but sometimes lives are spent in the SCP community for knowledge and containment.
It's a cruel fate, but for the universe's sake, one that sadly must be done.
The non death row D-Class that are simple volunteers that do die, along with the trained security, are just a tragic loss...
SCP researcher: We need someone who can squeeze between narrow pipes of the SCP-015 which is known to react violently if threatened by "intruders".
SCP task force commander: Gocha! Lets send a hulking behemoth with anger issues.
Let’s also send in a noob and a claustrophobic
@@ultimapower6950 Noob I get, he needs experience. The claustrophobic scientist was a huge mistake.
Although she handled herself great, its the giant ape that f-cked it all up.
Still no reason to send a claustrophobic researcher to work on an SCP that is 99% that.
SCP researcher: *Perfect*
Yea, that part of the story has buged me since the first time I heard it. Not only his physique, but he's supposedly the most experienced as far as field work goes yet he "doesn't believe in all that foundation hooey" and rips at the rover with wild abandon. I get it, you need a catalyst to drive the tale, but there are better fruit to behold rather than the low hanging ones.
@@ultimapower6950 scp scientist: "k, we've got a giant retard, a fuckin new guy, and a claustraphobe. Send em in."
The fact that any agent as experienced as Agent 6 would consider any anomaly less dangerous than advertised has been stuck on guarding 999 his whole career
That or SCP-2662 AKA Cthulhu
Cthulhu is a nice guy that's fun to play games with, the only problem is a bunch of cults worship his passive psychic energy and think he's an evil god, ironically those psychic powers prevent cults of actual evil gods from forming.

I just love Hunter's voice acting as usual. It creates such a deep and mysterious effect that is suited perfectly for any SCP

I like how the MTFs pronounce SCP as "Skip" because soldiers like to pronounce acronyms as words
I guess it's because it takes less time to say it that way?
How on earth did Agent 6 last so long with the SCP foundation? You would think that someone like him would've lost their job a long time ago.
Pretty sure his only missions were more combative, perhaps fighting off a breach or tracking down hostile anomalies who fought back.

It's really not. Even when you're incredibly experienced, you can still fall prey to your own arrogance.
Wait till they realize that this SCP was simply just a living incarnation of the original screen saver of pipes from Windows 95 back in the day.
This SCP has so much potential for stories and games, because the behaviour and attacks of the pipes is only limited by the imagination. This lattice of pipes could kill people 1,000,001 ways.
Extremely underrated.
"A bunch of fear mongering nonsense."
Every country literally funding the foundation: Are we a joke to you?
Even 682 would be absolutely baffled by this agent, and he sees nothing but disgust and hatred towards humanity. I would imagine him laughing for hours until he just rips him apart for a quick snack.
For being a relatively simple in concept entry -- a building full of anomolous pipes that reconfigure themselves -- the implications of what that can mean become really terrifying the more the idea is explored and built upon
Kind of like the anomaly itself really.

I like how every time they say something like "the MTF members don't get scared easily "
And then every other anomaly makes them scream like they are ordinary people
You tend to do that while dying painfully
Anyone else literally facepalm when agent 6 snapped and started messing with the device 🤦♀️
It can’t have just been me
Okay, so the big guy actually was smart--- taking out the chip. He just didn't watch his step.
Hard to say. It seems 015 responded to the chip being removed. Not him standing on a pipe. So it probably would have gotten him anyway.
He works as a MTF member and thinks that SCPs are safe
He has less IQ that's 096

TBF if you take the Shiney, kid friendly veneer off of SMW it's a frightening place. Man sized , and fanged mushrooms that chase you. Turtloid warriors led by a fire breathing Dragon-God that may or may not be worshipping a dream haunting toad-demon. Ghosts that wait to kill you when not looking and sentient bombs that only exist to close the distance to you and detonate. Yeah me too.
Ooooooh, the wet noises at the end. Headphones highly recommended. 🤢
Personally I wouldn't mind if the SCP foundation or Global Acult collation destroyed SCP-015. After seeing the shit it's done, and the fact it could probably cause an XK end of the world scenario if it wanted to. Best option would be to destroy it or contain it inside a giant steal box in the middle of the desert.
Ethier way SCP-015 is fuckdd up
How would it cause an xk class
@@yesman7670 The pipes would spread all over the world causing destruction and death.
Now this is a scp I would like to see how it would be against 682 (the hard to kill reptile), I know it wouldn’t be enough to kill the reptile but considering the variety of attacks 015 can perform plus its habit of not letting its victims go I’m really curious to how the reptile would fare against it and what kind of crazy mutations the reptile would develop to counter the sheer variety of pipes (attacks) 015 can use
"What could possibly go wrong?"
And here we have someone who has sealed his own fate because the universe will always take that phrase as a challenge.
Day 260 of asking the O5 Council to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.
So you want pipes for your infinite IKEA? Say no more. We got you.
Hey, I wonder how this will compare to Dr. Bob's version. Back when I was a teen trying to read every SCP in order, this was one of the first that really captured my imagination.
Edit: It seemed more detached, but with more complex characters? That sounds very strange as I read it aloud.
In Dr Bob's video the team managed to get data cards without incident but it was that dumb bozo who decided to break free RV and take it along with them which caused disaster.
The only thing I hate about this tale is how unprofessional MTF guy has been portrayed.
SCP-015 vs SCP-682
Theory: either 015 might have something in the pipes that can be effective against 682, or 682 can take down a chunk of 015
Now that's a match-up I want to see
Imagine they placed a giant bomb in the place sending pipe bits everywhere. We know it won't be neutralized. Wonder if the pipe bits would be seeds for new instances?
Let’s NOT find out, shall we, thank you 😊
Scp 1609 would like to have a word with you
That's a very interesting theory.
I think it would.
I kinda wonder if the pipes use the body's of the dead agents since some of the pipes have been noted to be made of human flesh and blone.
Yes! One of my favorite SCPs! Since it's surprisingly one that scares me the most.
You'd think a veteran at the foundation would know better than to underestimate an SCP like that. Like how had he not gotten killed before now?
I love how all scp youtubers give a custom self made name to scp 106
I think these stories would hit harder, if there was someone left alive to tell the tale, or at least dropped some logs/recordings, that are easily retrievable. Otherwise no one actually knows what happened and it kinda disconnects from SCP para-documentary vibe, where things that seem kinda obvious remain unknown unltil thoroughly examined.
This is a tale, not an entry. ;)
I mean there's plenty of cases where entire teams are wiped out and the foundation still has full recordings of what happened.
In the case of the pipes, nothing ever returns… guards stationed there actually report banging and screaming coming from the inside, so maybe there are still victims alive in there. Video/audio transmissions cannot penetrate the perimeter.
@@OMalleyTheMaggot dont SCP Agents have cameras in their headgear?

You should watch the video of The Rubber covering it. Its much much darker towards the end with the last guy. Sliding through a deep pipe for days as his body gets worn away from the friction between himself and the pipe.
Freat?
@@princeharris2660 Yea, arguably one of the most brutal SCPs.
Just call Mario and Luigi to handle this.
Did I really just hear him refer to 106 as “Uncle Larry” 😂
Followup research suggests Agent 6 was the subject of a previously undetected memetic anomoly that caused his superior at the foundation to only assign him to the .001% of anomolies that are less dangerous than they seem. Fresh off 5031 duty he decided to volunteer to go into SCP 015 since he couldn't understand why no one else would, the cowards.
Being something he chose freely without input from his superiors, the anomolous effect did not apply in this case.
The foundation is developing procedures to more closesly scrutinize assignments at the site and monitor for additional anomolous assignment patterns.
I think we can all agree that Agent 6 would be a Bowser, who with me? lol
Everybody: they stole this from Dr Bob
Me an intellectual: no they stole it from the wiki
"Which is honestly just so 'Wario' of him" lol how silly indeed
Video suggestion (shorts), Scp 343 Vs. the scarlet king.
This SCP would make a really good B movie
Pretty stupid for the Foundation to send a bully to a mission that needs precaution and patience. Dr. Lon knew her own fear and she just did it to promote herself, she could've done other stuff if it wasn't for her own selfishness. The rookie tho he at the leat went further, at least he didn't die in a horrific way.
Are you fucking deaf
He fell down a hole and his skin was melting
i love watching SCP Explained at night :D
Shame it didn't include the best/weirdest part. There are carnivorous lifeforms that life in the pipes aswell. Giants, with massive claws, and i think resemble canine/feline features. Frakking scary! At least if i remember it correctly, it was this scp.
I saw 015 Tale and knew exactly what this was from reading it years ago, awesome to see it here
I like how 682, 106, and 096 are just comparisons for measuring trauma and terror now like every SCP is scarier than them. At this point, all “hardened” Scp agents are traumatised at everything.
12:39
Person: *begins talking loudly in the pipes*
015: "Shut"
I absolutely love how these videos are getting longer by the day.
Beware the pipeline
“Uncle Larry” freaking hilarious
The fact let agent 6 go in this is insane. The sucks the pipes took it personally and took everyone else out
at 13:09 the angered scream sound effect is absolutely hilarious
Honestly, I prefer the other story I’ve heard about this scp where the pipes weren’t so…aggressive? I guess is the word for it. The pipes didn’t shoot out and grab people or try and wrap around them. They just were, they make noises and randomly burst open spraying really horrible stuff out nothing more.
Damn Lon and Agent 2 didn’t deserve that :(
'which was honestly just so Wario of him' god I love the little thrown in jokes! :D
Tip for SCP-15:
Do not send Big Guys, they will either get stuck in a Small pipe Hole, or they will break the pipes. Pick ones with the brains to do what they are to do ans then nothing else. Like a certain Person codenamed Six.
But i remember Six opening the UMV and then getting the cards, All Normal, but, him trying to be the Big Hero, he tried to take the UMV from the pipes, then He got melted by molten Glass.
Send in the midgets

Wait a second. Could you potentially get a sqaud out of there is you got 096 by getting one of them to look at the shy guys face...? It could barrel through the entire complex. Rip apart the agent and get someone else in the outside to look at it to get them out.
If 096 went back to its docile state and got absorbed by 015, the latter could develop 096-pipes that would start spreading uncontrollably and get uncontainable if someone on the other side of the globe saw few pixels of Shy Guy's face.
