Get 682, tranquilize it, throw it in the hole. Worst case scenario, it adapts against the crooked man and eats it. With some luck, it gets stuck regenerating while the crooked man had to keep breaking it's bone to avoid 602 to get to him.
Oh man, This reminds me of when Markiplier played a game with the same name. Can't believe that it was an anomaly this whole time. Day 261 of asking the O5 Council to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.

[7th-Dimension "SEEKER"/Anomalous Researcher INDRID COLD:] "Well Hay Diddle Diddle was inspired by an anomalous ritual where a cat anomalously played a fiddle, a cow anomalously jumped over the Moon🌛 (anomalously surviving its journey into the vacuum of space and reentry), a little dog laughed anomalously, all of which caused a Dish and Spoon to anomalously come to life, and ran away together to elope and get married as they belonged to two wealthy families feuding over ownership of the tableware as they were part of a rare and valuable set, with them coming to life making them even more valuable. The Dish and Spoon would eventually be found and terminated shortly after the foundation of the GOC (technically it was a mercy killing as the anomalous couple was constantly on the run from various collectors of anomalous tableware and groups like Marshal, Carter, & Dark)." [🌝Dr. Bright:] "Wow, I never knew Hay, Diddle, Diddle was based on a true story! Not surprised though, as a cow jumping over the moon and a cat playing a fiddle always did sound pretty anomalous to the point both my mom and dad were both convinced that it may be based upon some anomaly and its no surprise they were right, though mom's theory was was closer than dad's (he thought the lines about the dog laughing, as well as dish and spoon were just make believe)!" *Meanwhile O5-12 grumbles to himself upon learning his wife's theory regarding said nursery rhyme was more accurate!*

"Hey, when I read the Crooked Man rhyme, he seemed like an okay guy. It sounded like it was a dude with a limp and his three-legged cat just chillin' living their best life. "
Get 682, tranquilize it, throw it in the hole. Worst case scenario, it adapts against the crooked man and eats it. With some luck, it gets stuck regenerating while the crooked man had to keep breaking it's bone to avoid 602 to get to him.
682?
@@smittywerbenjagermanjenson1094 sorry, i missclicked, i mean 682
when you're 10 years old alone in Temby
Yule Man and Crooked Man: Allow us to introduce ourselves.
I always heard it with the ending "he found a crooked rope, hung from a crooked tree, and now his crooked body hangs for all to see"
Wow that took an even worse turn
@@NazukiraMiyasaki I didn't even realize what it actually meant until pretty recently

Ah yes, give the Ex-Death Row inmate a gun, that’s not totally irresponsible.
I feel bad for the class-D
Agent Collins is a true badass , my god.
Oh man, This reminds me of when Markiplier played a game with the same name. Can't believe that it was an anomaly this whole time.
Day 261 of asking the O5 Council to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.
Why not one where 682 is friendly? They could be a big help. Make 096 nicer as well. Instead of murder maybe he just slaps them.
@@syrathdouglas1244 Yeah, he's still going to try to murder 082 lol
682 would probably somehow make the thing create one with no life except him
Tbh that d2172 guy looks like a total badass going from the looks of his face, to how he holsters, holds, and uses his firearm.
Did not realize it’s name was “there was a crooked man” I remember hearing an scp fan song that mentioned it’s name but wow it literally is “There was a crooked man”
Desert in a can video when?
This one made me have to turn my lights on while I watched it. Great job.
My SCP-999 plush came in and it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be 🥰🥰🥰
Bro went to the upside down 💀
As someone that knows what wheel they’re talking about that’s disturbing.
Well what wheel is it?
@Echo the Catherine's wheel. It was a torture device named after a woman who (supposedly) broke the wheel with a touch after being sentenced for coverting several important people to christianity.
Someone would have their bones broken and twisted through the spokes of the wheel, sometimes they'd be left there for days before an execution
As someone who has had a broken wrist… I know how much this would hurt. I mean, ONE bone broken hurt like no pain I had ever felt before. So this must hurt like your own little torture room.
Guy 1: Okay, I’ll tell you…
Do you know… the crooked man?
Guy 2: The crooked man?
Guy 1: The crooked man.
Guy 2: yes… I know the crooked man.. the one contained in site-19?
Guy 1: well… he researches the crooked man
Guy 2: The crooked man?
Guy 1: tHe cROoKeD mAn
I can't be the only one who imagined Gingey and farquad saying that
It's funny that literally a WHOLE TOWN is being haunted by a mysterious being for over DECADES with even the houses twisting and sh*t and the SCP foundation was like: "meh, i don't see anything here."
Wait... D-209 was a D-Class for far too long
“And it continued to come”
Body Horror is terrifying,
it reminds me of that one time Rick gives a snake legs. imagine being crippled as "having limbs"
Edit: the crooked finger garden is cool.
and when the crowed fled, they found..... toes
Is this supposed to be Tenby? If so a Welshman being called English is far scarier than anything the SCP has contained
No, it's Temby, and it's not real
The actual scp log is an incredible read. Definitely one of my favorites.
Edit: due to the level of horrifying it is
The ending with the arm seems a LOT like Scp-1193 from what I seen in the video you guys made about that. Theories galore.
i was thinking that too
I think they could neutralize the crooked man easily since they know the pattern, when the crooked period starts have d class planted in every home or some people sharing homes so that no one is alone and install cameras everywhere with MTF available at night waiting for the static to dispatch to a home
Love your videos!
The voice acting is do chilling. Hunter killed it
(*(An Anomalous Nursery Rhyme)*)
[😎Dr. Bright:] "Ah, the terror of Temeby himself, The Crooked Man! You know I makes me wonder if their are any more nursery rhymes regarding anomalies!"
The Dish and Spoon would eventually be found and terminated shortly after the foundation of the GOC (technically it was a mercy killing as the anomalous couple was constantly on the run from various collectors of anomalous tableware and groups like Marshal, Carter, & Dark)."
[🌝Dr. Bright:] "Wow, I never knew Hay, Diddle, Diddle was based on a true story! Not surprised though, as a cow jumping over the moon and a cat playing a fiddle always did sound pretty anomalous to the point both my mom and dad were both convinced that it may be based upon some anomaly and its no surprise they were right, though mom's theory was was closer than dad's (he thought the lines about the dog laughing, as well as dish and spoon were just make believe)!"
*Meanwhile O5-12 grumbles to himself upon learning his wife's theory regarding said nursery rhyme was more accurate!*
Agent Collins is a bit of a badass
I know a creepypasta/uburn legend bout the Crooked man but its like the first rhyme but it's creeper then this kinda
Crooked man had one of the best scenes in the conjuring 2. Great look and audio.
Honestly the amount of stories that have "ThE aNoMoLy BrOkE tHe CaMeRaS" is starting to get annoying and ruins the immersion because why tf would they keep using basic cameras if they fail so often
you must be really slow considering this is one of the first SCPs written based on the number it was given lol
of course the writers aren't exactly as sharp as they are now
anomaly* Use correct spelling and grammar if you're going to criticize someone's writing.
@@humanity_moment. We all know what the commenter meant; their comment isn't unreadable.
It's also not unreasonable to criticize writing tropes regardless of how early something was made. Critical thinking and all.
Someone's grammar or lack thereof doesn't mean they can't criticize things either. It's not like they're proofreading exactly.
Also, the cameras aren’t broken at all. In fact, the file states that the entity causes a distortion on equipment, blocking its view. This does not mean the camera is broken. Take a look at the image of the file and tell me the camera is broken.
.....you're on about Tenby in Wales aren't you but had to change it to Temby so people don't look for it didn't you 😢
Question, is there names for your characters in the SCP explained videos? I see them reused a lot and are wondering if they have names you reference them. Or if you just randomly place them?
Can we please have creepy horror versions of OTHER mother goose stories and nursery rhymes? I love that.
While this does do a good job at covering the scp in general, I really do hope that this channel, or really any other, covers the exploration log(s).. this is a nightmarish concept in itself, but delving further? It only gets worse.
Fun fact: The nursery rhyme about Humpty Dumpty has no indication to say that he was an egg.
