Loved this. We can all be so hypocritical without even realising. Couples really need to reach a deeper understanding together of how their mind works and why they are the way they are, in order to minimise risk of disconnect long term. Also vital for assessing compatibility
This is so difficult to hear. It feels like my partner will never let my past mistakes go. I violated her trust, I lied and I was hell-bent on trying to take care of her. It feels like I lost myself and am constantly losing ground, regardless what I do now to change and push to keep our newly formed family together.
One of the crucial steps is accepting the past and it's impacts. I'ts commendable that you seem to have taken accountability for her lack of trust. Now try and take a look into which actions exactly made her feel the way she does. When you understand this you it all comes down to proving to her she will never have to feel that way again. Remember, every next step you take should be towards you becoming a better man for both yourself and your partner.
Ok to summarize: men let go of your pain / resentment. Truly forgive her even if she doesn’t ask for it / doesn’t atone / doesn’t work on her issues. Then once you forgive her truly, she will be able to reduce the negatives. She will feel more positive and loved. Then she will start to forgive you? Was that the answer on how to have your wife let go and forgive ? Lead by example.
Unfortunately this is all theoretical because I have yet to meet a woman who admits she did something wrong, apologizes, and asks for forgiveness. No matter what they did they will always justify their actions.
@BloodyHeck...Not in my marriage... A guy who is high value, will not descend, and stay in the snake-pit of "Shoulds". Lower value men will "swing the bat after the ball has passed", as we are experiencing on a societal level, the result of breakdown of traditional values. A correction will take another generation, IF we re-embrace traditional culture. Your comment mirrors the opinion of many who experience these problems of basic m/f communication, from my observation concerning fails' and success. Thanks.
Maybe because of that belief you keep attracting such women. Or you are in delusion. There's no way every woman is always wrong and you are right. Therapy helps to unpack the root of our trauma.
It's working for my wife, and I ... I really hit a wall The last month or two ... we were miscommunication with our empty nest ... it was nice to be alone and then the routine of everyday life only to find myself working more and just starting to find we were not happy with the world that surrounds us... and drifted apart ... we were fighting more ... didn't really appreciate one another and were chasing down new roads for something that had been right in front of us... we finally had the most intense fights for about a 2 week period... she ended up walking out the door... with the help and guidance from these videos and a couple of chats with Josh team I was able to start living living better life by taking care of the lady at home with understanding women are different thinker then we are

In most of our arguments or fights, I felt justified in my anger. While at the same time I knew I wasn’t.
