Rest is different for everyone. Some sleep in. Some go for a walk or meditate.
I'm working year round 7 days a week. But I have days I do only light work or quick wins to get me through the day, because i don't really feel like it. There is days I stay in bed till 1pm before I get my ass to work till 11pm. I have days of 13 hours and days of a couple hours. I rest through reading, wandering in nature, fitness. My main focus is not to work X hours a day, or rest X hours a day. My goal is to progress in life according to my energy levels. Sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. If I feel sluggish, i'll do sport or catch some sunlight and I'll overcome my mood.
We all have ups and downs. But we need to try and enjoy life, whilst also do things that bring fullfilment.
But we don't need the standard 8 hour sleep and two day weekend every day of the week. You're just programmed this way by our social structures

Brother as your are preparing for a competitive exam.
You see studying as a race , where everyone is competing to get the desired grades and it feels hard and scary.
Same way physically, when any player or athelete is competing against others at a good level.
At the mental level they are also in race , training, sleeping, eating , recovering amd many other.
Study or physical activity anything when done just casually doesn't feel scary.
But when you are competing, and every other person is pushing themselves. Then it's a competition, it's a race.
It will feel scary, dark , alone Everything .
Even for you , when you were not preparing for exam , studies were relaxing and chilling right.
Now, because of competition, it feels the way it is.
So all that matter is , compete . Ruthlessly, just grind and keep going.
      God bless you sir❤️

keep in my mind that a rest is needed, your performances will increase faster. Even better, resting doesn't mean not doing anything, it can be to stretch, simply walk or run if yesterday you climbed. To keep moving is good but you gotta do it stragically.
