i will NEVER forgive Hickman for erasing Rachel Summers' omega-level status. the X-Men comics are such trash now.
Not to mention Cable's status as an Omega Level mutant. I don't understand why so many people think Jonathan Hickman is some sort of genius.

@@thispersonrighthere9024mostly because omega level been a term that was thrown around too much that it lost it all meaning and blaming Hickman for how arbitrary omega level is by other writers who made the term too superficial (ie multiple omega level Telepaths, beyond omega level, etc) as it has become is not his fault when people throw the term left and right and he decide to do housekeeping but if that doesn’t satisfy you I like to remind people that his list only applies to 616 characters like Rachel and other who can applies to omega level who are also absence to it are from other universe or timeline so none of that.
Good X-men fans are obnoxious obsessed when with power too much. I had to hear for people who complain on wolverine should totally be omega level just on based on how popular he is. Everyone a joke
@@thispersonrighthere9024not mention Rachel stop being relevant after they brought back Jean back. She was supposed to fill in the gap that was missing by Jean which is going to be difficult when the person you’re supposed to replace and succeed comes back and focus on the Phoenix with them

this is why rachel and cable were omega, and rachel was even the first mutant to be called omega! Hickman threw that whole history away. it's _unforgivable!_
also, we fans always had our definition of omega. it was someone with a very versatile ability at a high level, and/or someone whose power made them very hard to kill. this is why so few mutants were omega. your power set had to be top-tier (like Jean Grey, Kid Omega, Proteus, Legion, Hope Summers, Vulcan, Mister M, Iceman, Elixir, etc.).
Hickman made a mockery of what it means to be omega by defining it as having any power with no limits. due to this rubbish, we now have mutants with generic powers like precognition and pyrokinesis wearing the omega title. 🙄
even tho magneto is my favorite, he shouldn't be in the same category as someone who can warp reality like Monarch.

Because Claremont created her as the child of not Jean Grey precisely, but the Phoenix Force & Scott.
It's why she could host the Force with minimal challenge, it "likes her" in her words.
There are other Rachel Summers, but THIS Rachel, our Rachel is a sort of Multiversal fixed point.
