@@georgecarter144 they are brilliant i have one its really strong, sounds amazing and the brand vintage is one of my favourites especially as theyre not factory produced
Yes it's neck heavy, but if you get a textured strap with enough friction and not a slippery one, the problem is solved. This is the newer VS6-B model. I have the older one without the white inlay.
I think they got some lawsuit stuff so they had to change some things. Especially the LPs got some noticeble changes if compered earlier models and todays.
I wonder it you find The reason in white binding. I got in 2019 and have The white binding and white nut , look so nice. Do you de exactly modelo, mine is vs6. Cheers
I own a pre-Wilkinson model (made in the 90's and it's pretty awesome considering the low price. Tested some Epiphones (from the lesser special up to G400 Pro) in the store and it does compare favorably to each of them, as it has an overall better feel to it and even the pre-Wilkinson Korean PAF buckers are pretty soli. It's, you know, the kind of guitar you get set up with 10-46 strings then rock on/lay down the blues with. An interesting fact is that with appropriate setup and strings, it resonates amazingly even when unplugged. Loads of sustain. So, in a nutshell, yes, these are actually very good guitars.
@@andreil1234 what's the pre wilkinsons like? Some say don't get those ones the ones after 2005 is it are better when wilkinsons came along? And then the newer ones have the binding with the offset horns? Which one is the best. Older original horn body shape pre or post wilkinson or the newer altered shape with binding? And cherry or black?
@@julierobson2569 Best is Gibson SG Standard/61 :). However out of Vintage bunch I'd get an older one with the even horns. May need tech work but worth it!
Loving the mic propped up on the teddy!!!
Great guitar, great playing and great that teddy came along to help out. I’ve just bought this guitar and the tone is superb.
It sounds damn good to me
This guitar is beautiful and sounds great! Love it in black. I am thinking of getting one. Also, I love that teddy bear you have as a mic stand, haha!

A mi no me engaña, el osito es la parte mágica! The teddy is the magic part! Good video friend!
great
How close does the vs6 get to the real thing?
different style of music for Greg
nice mic stand ;) good job!
which one do you prefer considering the fretboard playability VS 6 or V52 ?
does it fall towards the neck like others SGs?
what model is this with the white inlay on the neck?

Is that a genuine Vintage? The "real" one doesn't have any neck binding...
Justo i picked ups INE and have neck white binding. I wonder what modelo exactly is it. Plesase it you have any notices tell me. Thanks
I have one and it has neck binding. The Vintage website example has binding, too. Not sure what you're referring to.
@@tosapwr At the time of my post the guitar had no neck binding. I guess they must have implemented that in the meantime.
not seen one with the binding. Is that a diff model?

Is the new reissued model.
In the interests of health and safety I want you to get some ear defenders for your teddy. After all look where Brian Johnson ended up....
See, even cheap guitar can sound nice when Greg play it.
Vintage guitars are far from cheap. Just because they don't say Gibson on them does not make them cheap. They are great guitars.
jv squiers, sure but certainly not this guitar. wanted to buy one as a kicker arounder but even greg cant make it sound good.
are this good guitars?
Juan. Lega better than epiphone
