Thanks for this video! From time to time, I get a rash and itch in the crotch area (maybe because I bike a lot), and clotrimazole works wonderfully if I use it correctly, which is exactly as described in the video. When I had this infection the first time, I only treated exactly the affected area and stopped applying the cream when it stopped itching. That was a mistake, the infection came back and I had to start treating it again. It's really important to apply it a bit beyond the affected area and continue applying it for 1-2 weeks when the rash and itch disappeared, this increases the chances of getting rid of this nasty fungus once and for all. Make sure to have enough Clotrimazole cream at hand to not run out in the middle of the treatment.
Since it takes about 1-3months to get a Dr appointment these days, your video is a lifesaver. You hit a lot of great points. I wear work boots so I alternate. Gracias
my baby has 3 months old he has infection in his head my dermatologist recomend to apply this cream on his head twice a day , should I apply it in his head.
@@gamingtrack2m492 brother, i used a cream named clotrimazole one month ago and i am feeling relaxed from itching and inflammation at very extent. You can try it too.
Sa generika drugstore ang 20grams ay nasa 100 pesos plus lang..Compare sa canesten ay nasa 265 ang 5 grams lang..Napakamahal ang branded e same lang naman sila na clotrimazole
Clotrimazole tablets? They are no longer recommended, there are safer antifungal agents for systemic application in the form of tablets. Also, these skin infections are usually quite localized. It makes much more sense to just treat the infected area with creams instead of treating the entire body with tablets.
Yes, it is. And I'd consult a doctor before applying steroid cream onto fungal skin infections. By lowering the body's inflammatory response, it will stop the rash and the itch, but may also cause the fungus to grow even more. Antifungal agents like clotrimazole make a lot more sense in most cases, because they directly attack the fungus. Steroids may be useful in severe infections, but I don't know.
Yes, that's normal. Make sure to keep applying the cream until like 1-2 weeks after the itching and skin rash disappeared completely. Antifungal cream is there to kill the skin fungus that causes the rash and itch in the first place. Anything that moisturizes the skin may stop the itch for a while, which is while the itch may directly stop after applying the cream. But the point of applying it it to get rid of the fungus once and for all, and that takes some time and persistence.
I just looked it up: For clotrimazole creams, there seems to be no direct harm when using too much. But since clotrimazole is toxic for the liver and also pretty bad for the environment and using more cream doesn't make the fungus go away faster, it doesn't make sense to use more than advised.
This cream seems to have turn some red marks/ patches on my penis into wet sores. I ended up getting heat friction from using a sextoy too long without out relubing. Anyone else using this for the same, probably not many, but just a heads up. This cream made penis worse. These red marks or friction burn turned into open wounds.
Thanks for this video!

How about phimosis?
Since phimosis is not causes by a fungus, Clotrimazole and other antifungal agents can't help there
