    Thanks for the info Gaz. I’ve been playing for 2 years and have dropped my handicap from 54 to 21.3. I’ve decided to dedicate 1 day a week through the winter to work on a lot of the things you’ve talked about and hopefully get that handicap down even further 👍

    Excellent video. Not watched much of your stuff yet, but will be after this video. Course management, short game and putting practice has helped me break 100 and then 90. I was 30 hcp 2 years ago when I started playing golf again after lockdown, now 20 and slowly coming down as these areas of my game improve.
    Love your presenting style.

    Took up golf October 2020 having never hit a golf ball in my life. First handicap was 42 currently 5.3 and best score has been -3 . Trying to get to scratch and get regular lessons with a pro.

    Back to target is the single best swing thought I’ve been taught. My coach told it me about 2 years ago and it’s still my go-to thought if things start going pear shaped.

    If you can afford it getting a coach is single-handedly the best thing to do for sure. Im looking to get 1 lesson a month if i can. Well played mate youre grafting and it shows. For the people that dont quite have the time for that then practice and play very efficiently by planning what to work on per month etc. Happy golfing everyone 👌🏻

    Great video Gaz. I've gone from shooting mid 90s to mid 80s lately aiming for the middle of the green and using aim point. Putting has come down from 2 to average 1.8 putts a round.

    Might not agree with every view you have (I am a bit nerdy myself, so I have researched a lot, and talked to a lot of knowledgeful persons within golf, analytics etc.), but it is clear to see that you have started within what I would call the "data-era", where your general ideas and focus are much more in line with good scoring than "old wisdom". :)

    I paid for a coach for my 1st lesson in a while and all he did was try to get me to swing in to out and waffle on about the Trackman, what a waste of time!! What you say is true I think? Getting someone who can work with your swing and I think a coach with a personality, for me anyway, is a must. Fun video...I may even use my Instagram account again? .

    Biggest 2 things i would say from seeing alot of players is their lack of course management (trying to take on every pin over bunkers/water) and lack of practice (playing once a week and expecting to get better)

      i spend monday wednesday and friday filming not all weeks but there my days to use normally always back for kids getting back at half 4 and never play golf weekends so with them every minute

    It’s hard to find a good coach that’s willing to show you properly.
    All a lot of them do now is sit behind a track man or gc quad and as you say let’s go back to basics.
