Literally while watching this video booked a putter fitting after my next lesson this coming Monday ! 🤙🏻 been playing 3 months and I’m hooked, just got my first under 100 game last week with a 98 ! ⛳️
Thanks for the info Gaz. I’ve been playing for 2 years and have dropped my handicap from 54 to 21.3. I’ve decided to dedicate 1 day a week through the winter to work on a lot of the things you’ve talked about and hopefully get that handicap down even further 👍
Saves going range wish we could all afford it 😂these RUclipsrs and celebs forget there’s people out there who are not well off enough only reason they do it is for the money
@@liveforgolf4764if u can’t afford 20 balls at a driving range my mate you need to pack golf in. Costs a lot of money to play the game, you’re just being an absolute cock for no reason aren’t you 😂
Great advice Gazza thank yous! Enjoyed watching you at Wentworth last week you played nicely despite the nerves but settled into your game nicely! Cheers fella 👍🏻
Excellent video. Not watched much of your stuff yet, but will be after this video. Course management, short game and putting practice has helped me break 100 and then 90. I was 30 hcp 2 years ago when I started playing golf again after lockdown, now 20 and slowly coming down as these areas of my game improve. Love your presenting style.
Great channel Gaz...watch them all and enjoy them. Fancy a game? I play West Kilbride...Ayrshire...West coast Scotland. Cracking links course and a great hotel for you only 300 yards from the clubhouse! Reckon it would be a good head to head 💪👌
Took up golf October 2020 having never hit a golf ball in my life. First handicap was 42 currently 5.3 and best score has been -3 . Trying to get to scratch and get regular lessons with a pro.
Back to target is the single best swing thought I’ve been taught. My coach told it me about 2 years ago and it’s still my go-to thought if things start going pear shaped.
If you can afford it getting a coach is single-handedly the best thing to do for sure. Im looking to get 1 lesson a month if i can. Well played mate youre grafting and it shows. For the people that dont quite have the time for that then practice and play very efficiently by planning what to work on per month etc. Happy golfing everyone 👌🏻
Cracking video. Definitely taken some good tips away from this one to use on the course next time I'm out. Hopefully see those scores start to come down off the back of it.
Great video Gaz. I've gone from shooting mid 90s to mid 80s lately aiming for the middle of the green and using aim point. Putting has come down from 2 to average 1.8 putts a round.
Was watching geordie shore and gaz is one my favourite actors on the show.wish you a good future bro and baby gaz too will you do another interview on geordie shore on your RUclips channel gaz?”
Golf looking good Gaz. Watched your AP explanation on the green. You read the putt using feet then viewed from the other side using eyes. Is the point or AP not to eliminate tricks of the eyes? 🧐 Keep grafting. ⛳️
Might not agree with every view you have (I am a bit nerdy myself, so I have researched a lot, and talked to a lot of knowledgeful persons within golf, analytics etc.), but it is clear to see that you have started within what I would call the "data-era", where your general ideas and focus are much more in line with good scoring than "old wisdom". :)
Hi Gaz great content ,Iam going to give the back and hip bump tip a go ,and will let you know how I get on with it ,also at what handicap did you start with this swing thought/move
I paid for a coach for my 1st lesson in a while and all he did was try to get me to swing in to out and waffle on about the Trackman, what a waste of time!! What you say is true I think? Getting someone who can work with your swing and I think a coach with a personality, for me anyway, is a must. Fun video...I may even use my Instagram account again? .
such a good video. hilights so much of my own game that is going wrong. I was literally having this conversation today that I need to do more course management rather than just waking my driver. Great video.
Another awesome video Gaz. Watch all your content. I’m currently 23.1 HCP and would love to head down towards 10 in the next year. If you ever fancy doing some spin off vids of you coaching someone then give me a shout and I would love for you to coach me to 10 HCP 👍🏼
Biggest 2 things i would say from seeing alot of players is their lack of course management (trying to take on every pin over bunkers/water) and lack of practice (playing once a week and expecting to get better)
Not digging at Gaz, jealous more than anything but yeah, being well off, practically retired in your 30s and having the time and resource probably helps a lot!
i spend monday wednesday and friday filming not all weeks but there my days to use normally always back for kids getting back at half 4 and never play golf weekends so with them every minute
Lets be honest its money, im a ridiculously high handicap, but if i had the money for more lessons, for a sim at home to practice anytime any weather id be guaranteed to improve.
It’s hard to find a good coach that’s willing to show you properly. All a lot of them do now is sit behind a track man or gc quad and as you say let’s go back to basics.
so its lessons which eqates to money, played one year started at 24 now 14 never had a lesson ,anything you get in a lesson you can get on youtube for free i have played sport all my life amd never had a lesson on any of them i just dont get all the tak about lessons if im honest just hard work and practice is key

One of the top golf channels out there, Gaz. Soon as I get the notification of a new video, I’m dropping anything I’m doing to watch it.

Coming to this video from your video with Dan. So thankful I found your channel! Subscribed.
Looking forward to future videos. Cheers from America.
Was skeptical before watching this as too many people recycling golf advice. But am pleasantly surprised. Very useful perspectives
Track man and a home studio probably helped ha
just saves going to the range 😂 but yer defo helps getting the reps in

Great video Gaz, love your enthusiasm !
Cracking vid again gaz, good too see you turned out too be a spot on fella 👍

Nice one Gaz, I like the swing thought idea, will definitely give it a try.
Great video Gaz. I have been playing for years and regularly go golf range but still slice my driver… it’s depressing
Great video Gaz, thanks!!!
Just broke 90 for first time after watching this vid last night, Gaz whata boy👏

Class video again cheers for the content Gaz
Great vid Gaz, I’m 24 but coming down after starting 2 years ago ! Like the clobber 👍
Such a good video Gaz - love the energy and honesty as usual. Going to try that back move next time down the range!

Hi gaz is there any way that you can do long videos to up load plz aa these are way to short but glad that your getting there😊
Your ball was in the rough before you hit the 5 iron then when you set up you was in the fairway?..
Nice one gazza , used to watch you on Geordie shore, but fucking love golf also, cracking tips
Never broke 100, getting close.. hoping to take some of these tips on my next round especially the old t-shirt tuck! 😂 good vid 👌🏼
Mate same boat. We will get there
Great vid .. really helpful & explained properly 💪🏻
Lol @ 15:08 you edited the clip and moved the ball from the rough to the fairway for your next shot.

Lad what a run, you can go scratch within a year. Gaz vs Bullard be comedy gold tbh

Top video gaz!!
Class this Gaz cheers

gotta do a full 18 break 80 soon love those
How often do you spend on the trackman practising? Must help massively having that once having a lesson and dialling it in!

Thanks Gaz one question are you turning on chips ( turning the chest) or are you rocking the shoulders?
Does fitness help at all? if so how much of a % you reckon?
Fancy trying to get me better at golf🤣👍🏻
Nice vid mate👏👏👏
About the back thing I tried it today, some were flush and some I knew I didn’t get it right
I’m 5 over after 12 holes then finish 15 over . Idk that a lot and my handicap is 10 wanting to get down to 7 this year
When you doing another subscriber challenge? Celtic manor, 18 holes, best man wins 💪😁
Gaz where can I find the clothing I cand find the website
Do you play many Saturday comps?
Been playing a year currently 23 handicap, went on holiday forgot how to play hate taking a break😂😂
Having unlimited time to play helps massively let's be honest. Love the videos and how far you have come but wish I could play 3 times a week 😂
Not digging at Gaz, jealous more than anything but yeah, being well off, practically retired in your 30s and having the time and resource probably helps a lot!
You seem to spend all your time on golf course now, do you spend much time with your young family?
What a stupid comment

I like that shirt, what brand is it?
Rest of the clobber look’s mustard 👍👍👍

the goo goo gah gah channel little baby 😅
Having time to practise and play.
I’m gonna get a Putta lesson for sure lad.
Lets be honest its money, im a ridiculously high handicap, but if i had the money for more lessons, for a sim at home to practice anytime any weather id be guaranteed to improve.
Par 4 driver 😂2:22
I know how you done it…… you play nearly every day 🤣🤣 and also having a gc quad simulator in your house 🤣🤣👍
It’s hard to find a good coach that’s willing to show you properly.

Be a millionaire have home track man studio and play golf full time helps my god damn hero
so its lessons which eqates to money, played one year started at 24 now 14 never had a lesson ,anything you get in a lesson you can get on youtube for free i have played sport all my life amd never had a lesson on any of them i just dont get all the tak about lessons if im honest just hard work and practice is key
I think 20 to 9 Hcp is easy.
9 - 5 Hcp is hard
5 to Scratch is hard grind
Playing everyday for a living might of helped
I'm kidding bro I can't shoot under 90 come to Florida and show me how it's done
No everyone can pay for coaches every week like you can mate 😂😂😂
