Did you notice more designs on the front of shirts or the back of shirts? And did you notice any difference between the types of designs on the front versus the back of shirts?
Great question. Most designs were on the front of the shirt, or both (front and back). And most of the shirts were dark (black, charcoal, or another dark color).
Text Sizing! Is there a rule of thumb for text size? Ive modified the "Minimal Text" design furthest to the right in the video, ordered it on a sample shirt, only to find that I blew the text up too big. Is there a standard font size for tshirts or any guidelines to follow? Or is this an individual taste thing? You guys Rock! This video has some great niche ideas!
Glad this was helpful! In terms of size, a lot of times this is personal preference. But there are some t-shirt chest and center sizing guides you can look for online or even buy a physical version to get a better gauge on the actual size in inches that you would want to print your design. We'll try to tackle that in future videos!
Style #3 is informed by 1960's psychedelic poster design / Wes Wilson, and has been having a moment the past few years for reasons we'll never understand. I subscribe to the hypothesis that style is simply cyclical... what's old is new again. From the Haight-Ashbury to Walmart, something about the aesthetics of hippie culture and psychedelic drugs has caught on with the current mass market taste.
Wow ! This is Awesome. Thanks a lot. I am new to Kittl but I have lots of interest in designing and I have experience in Website Designing also. I live in Silicon Valley California, and I see most of the young kids wear different designs of T-Shirts. Mostly related to Technology ex: T-Shirt can have some programming function or logic written. Can you please provide us the Template to print the Text or Design on Sleeves?
Hey there! There are a ton of templates at kittl.com for you to get started with. You can either try print on demand, or ordering transfer sheets for your heat press to do at home.
@@Kittldesign Hey Drew, can you create a video on design placement, on those one word designs and maybe a full graphic design , seems like it's different on every model. I would hate to have it wrong
Interesting! It is what was noticed on people while out watching, so it is confirmed that they get sales, but it's true the every style is not right for every person! Thanks for watching.
