For anyone that is just starting diamond painting and needs advice..Cut the sections small- Its better for you to do small sections and get more done then cut a big section and get unmotivated to do it. You don't need to put much pressure into finishing it all in a week or a month- Learning from expeirence I used to pressure myself into doing them in one week. I even pressured my self into doing one in 2 days. Its better for you if you space it out. Get the right tools- this one can mean anything but what tools I would recommend is a single placer and multiplacer, a tray, and wax/blue tac also works. Start out small- don't get a big painting as your first one you should start of with a decent sized one because you start to lose that motivation and doubt yourself. Vibe- light a candle, put on some music or a tv show or even a movie and some led lights (if you have them) its better to vibe with doing diamond painting than not listen to anything and be uncomfortable. I usually put on a twitch stream or a youtube video put something on that you know that you won't pay attention to it a lot. Get a comfortable working place- get cozy and get somewhere you can sit for a couple hours and not hurt your back. Do not spend like 7 hours sitting in one place- get up and move around after every 2 hours or so if you spend 7 hours straight you will strain your back. Right table height- the table or area that you are working on should be able to go over your knees and legs you will strain your back with something lower. The table should be high. Where to put extra beads- You can put them in a jar or container like most people do or you can put them in bags or containers to save for later in case you run out of that color in another diamond painting..this brings me too my next one. Diamond DMC codes- yes if you are familiar with DMC codes the drills do go off of them so its easier to ask the person you bought from for more diamonds if you run out of the color before you finish it. You can also buy them in some stores. Drying times- I would not recommened puttng them out open for a long period of time. But if you know that you will be returning back to it that same day than I wouldn't stress it drying out. Plastic cover- yes there is a plastic cover that helps you.. it helps with the glue not drying out. Just peel it off and do the square you cut. I would also recommend buying a exacto knife if you don't already, it helps with cutting them into squares. Also if you know that you won't finish it that same day than you can close it with that square of plastic you took off because its the same size or you can use a bigger one. Remember you have to put it one the right side or else the plastic will take some of the glue off.. but it isn't something to worry about because you can still do the diamond painting. The right side of the plastic square will come off easier. Get containers- I wouldn't recommend using the bags but if you use the bag for your first time its fine. But I would recommend getting containers once you figure out you like doing diamond paintings or not. So these are some of my ideas for beginners.
I can’t wait to start doing this again! I’m buying one of those containers most people have with the individual containers soon..but I can just imagine doing this with my LED lights on and my skylite it’ll be so calming!
Y e s I spilt 4 colors on my wooden floor. It was a PAIN sorting them back in the container cuz they looked SO similar! 🥲 now I’m continuing the diamond painting! 😄

THX ALOT!! But is it okay to use a box cutter to cut you sections or will it tear the page????? Because I am scared to use a box cutter!!
@@mm_sisters1638 just use it lighting on the surface so it doesn't cut through the canvas
lightly*
@@jessicamartinez3171 ok thank you so much!! I will use it but is it better to use scissors and cut out squares??!!
