The at bat to Devers was when I knew he was gonna be nasty. I watched that one back 10 times. Dotted backdoor slider at the bottom of the zone for a strike, so havin seen only a slider takes a painted 100 mph fastball on the inside corner, right on the black. Then Mason finishes him off with a filthy slider that starts more in the zone than the previous pitch but ends up down and in. Not a chance for him to hit any pitch that at bat and honestly I don’t think any batter wold have a shot against that sequence. 👌
I really wanted him to become a lights out starter. However, I see the promise here too. Looking like another Goose Gossage.

100+ is impossible without utilizing whole body. Nolan ryan is an outlier.
