  • @defmud80

    The building was being renovated for a new business. Its my guess that some under qualified electrician had some rather unsafe wiring going on somewhere started to burn underneath and inside the building and by the time it was addressed it had gotten too hot and spread too far. When that kind of wood starts to burn it's really hard to put out.

    LOOKS LIKE THE ONE IN GTAV
    almost
    You would think, that being right there on the water, there would have been a generator and a water pump all set, with inlet pipes down the pilings to suck up water in case of fire.
    That would have extinguished this in 20 minutes, and saved 10s of thousands of dollars in damage.

    • @itizme8072
      @itizme8072 28 дней назад +1

      Ive said something similar for years about California forest fires. That if they had built pumping stations and run pipelines through the forest from the nearby lakes, BILLIONS in insurance payouts over the year never would have never been needed, and peoples homes and lives would have been saved.
      Now look

    • @genericamerican7574
      @genericamerican7574 25 дней назад

      @@itizme8072 a logistical nightmare. That would cost billions and you can’t just run pipes from lakes to have water because there would need to have pump stations and water towers (electricity isn’t free and pump stations are not cheap). Water pressure is important and it would take a lot of pressure. It would take a lot of water towers. It would take billions to cover ten percent of our forests.😅

What was the name of the Deli at the corner of Rosecrans & ?? Pier was one block away. That deli was great. Our clan resided the rest of the year in the hot AZ desert. Idk how to explain it. The wind hits the wall some goes up and the rest swirls to the sides till it can keep going.

Sometimes it was even difficult to see any of the pier. Plus it seemed to be ALL smoke!! Was the pier even on fire?? How long was the pier?
      The title indicated Oceanside Responded to a Blaze. What I saw on the video could have been created by letting off a couple smoke bombs - There was NO blaze.
      I wonder what really happened. Was there real danger? Or was someone just playing around??

    They keep claiming that several departments were there. 🤷🏻‍♀️ but all those “departments” were unable to do anything. Even the boats could only assist a little. The 1st helicopter came about 50 mins after the start. So sad 😢 They were definitely not prepared for such a situation which is very disappointing. Imagine if it was summer, full of tourists. I live by the pier and saw it :(
