My brother (Ret. Army Ranger) his wife, and a friend who was also with them, were ambushed on the streets of Cap-Haitien in Haiti three years ago. They had been in the country on mission work for almost six years and were just a few weeks away from moving back to the states permanently. They were on their way to their home, when my brother saw something was up with two guys on a motorcycle in front of them. The two guys stopped suddenly, and the one on the back of the motorcycle got off and pulled a gun from his pocket. He told his wife and the other person in the vehicle to get down. As they were trying to evade the gunmen by getting around them; my brother was shot. He told his wife he had been hit and that he didn't have feeling in his legs. His wife who was sitting next to him during the ambush was able to step on the gas and continued down the street getting them far enough away from the two gang members and saving their lives. They all survived but my brother is now paralyzed from the chest down and still carries the bullet and fragments in his lung and spine. The reason you didn't hear about them is because their story wasn't newsworthy enough. Why? Because they weren't killed.

Stop announcing that police will be sent and just do it so that gangs don't prepare or take preemptive action as they just have.

You know I'm in my 60s. All my life the U.S. has been trying to help those countries over there. Starving, disease, and violence. It has not done one bit of good. You cannot help someone that doesn't try to help themselves. If you are an American don't go. It infuriates me that worthless Obiden does not hesitate to send our American service men and women into harm's way. Send Hunter.

That was Davy’s home. He grew up there. They were all family to those precious children at the orphanage. Natalie married Davy and Haiti became her home. She loved it. She loved the children. They were spreading the Truth that Jesus loves them and died on a cross for their sins. They were wonderful people. It was a privilege to know them.
