Great review- just got a ‘23 Backcountry! 6’2” 210, thing is exactly as you describe! So much fun in the powder and easy on the tail. Had a ‘98 Indy xc 600 and a ‘15 Indy 600, both 121” and this thing is amazing! Everything I ever wanted to do-done. Rides like a 121 too, just a great sled. Again, great review from another MN rider! 🤙🏻
Hell yeah let’s go I just bought my wife 2022 renegade sport 600 EFI and sold her 2009 GTX 500 SS2 up but unfortunately it’s 54° and raining like hell here today so our winter might be over 🤦♂️🤬
Oh no, so is all your snow gone? That's 600 Renegade would have to be a nice machine! I was thinking something similar if I could get the life to go ride with me
Thanks for the video, after watching it I found the same sled at a dealer and am picking it up in a few days. I too am a tall and big guy so I was wondering how this sled would work out for me. Did you ever do a handlebar riser? What about scratchers? Maybe you mentioned them, im commenting a few weeks after I watched the video
I got the 137 track on Barb‘s new renegade sport my MXZ TNT has the 129 but it’s pretty comfortable what do you have your blocks set on in the back I set mine on one because I like to let the front end come off the ground and it makes it a little lighter steering in the curves
I’m not a huge fan of the engine brake it’s the first sled I’ve ever owned that had it but I’ve gotten used to it and my 850 etech the power is just amazing 0 to 60 in a few seconds and of course now that I’ve gotten further into the video you’ve answered my question as to where you have your block set up I still like number one I like to be cruising along at 60 and just hammer it and bring the front end up 🤦♂️🤣🤣
I would be afraid at my weight number one would be too soft. While going down the trail it would probably be fine but on the backside of a driveway or any sort of jump I might bottom out a little too much? I would imagine that 129 would still allow you to go pretty much anywhere you wanted to go? Your MXZ still has the engine braking to it as well? I might look into some aftermarket clutching and see if I can't get rid of that engine braking. We were going down a pretty steep hill and the guy in front of me I could see how much he was tapping or riding his brake. I was bouncing the throttle between idle position and giving it a little bit to maintain my speed down the hill. LOL
A decent amount of snow in the area finally! Good to hear that you really like that snowmobile.
Thanks. March Madness is coming up and a normally we get some snow during that time frame. We need a big snowstorm

And that spare belt holder was kind of a son of a bitch for me to get my spare belt in on my MXZ TNT

One question, do you really like it?***
Ha! So far just to fun! Some trail spots i miss the performance and smoothness of the pissed off 800 triple.
Couldn't finish the video.. listening to his breathing and smaking was unbearable 😫
