Check out this video as I share with you guys how to upgrade your camaro interior with this simple mod. It does not rub off and it doesn't mess up your leather to alcantara.
We all wanted the lower trim levels to be customizable like the C8 Corvette but Chevy left this feature out for us so here a small trick to upgrade your interior to whatever you want.

That’s pretty genius of you. I have the red knee pads and seat belts as well as custom diamond stitch floor mats with red stitching. I’m definitely going to have to color my stitching red.

That's a great ideal There was a lady in our Camaro club that did that to her bumble bee and her husbands car but she used nail polish you way is much better. Thankfully my 50th Came with orange stitching. Great job good thinking.

That’s creative af dude! Was it easy to get off any residual that gets on the leather/alcantara? You got me wanting to do it now 😂
Yes it’s very easy to get the residual off. I didnt have a towel with me during the vjdeo but I color it and wipe it down afterwards. Alcantara steering wheel is more time consuming and it’s best to use a new pen because the tip is fresh and pointy. I can DM you my finished results on IG

Quick question: do you immediately wipe it with a damp towel after using the marker or wait until it dries? Also, will the wet towel wipe off some of the color?
I have a dry micro fiber towel and after I do a few stitches I wipe it right afterwards. It dries once it touch stitching I’ve had it this on my car for a while now and the the color still in tact

Great job. Have always wondered if this would work. Have you cleaned the leather at all yet? Will degreaser or interior cleaner fade it?
Thanks! No I haven’t cleaned the leather I wipe it down with water to remove any dust and that’s it! I wouldn’t recommend using degreaser or any interior directly on it . I would wipe around it

I have a 2022 1ss 1le. The recaro seats are not made for a big guy. What options do I have? Can the side bolstering be pushed out? Do you know what's inside the seat?
I don’t think so, I bought the SS 1LE knowing this and intended to use my car for track. If you want less bolstering you can get the 2SS seats but I don’t see any options

Yes I did I had a damp towel and wiped it off for the purpose of the video I did it quick but when I sat down and did it for the seats I colored and wiped it

I would say 3-4hrs I was just taking my time and takings breaks in between. No really rushing

@@BLUPRINT1LE I got the red stitching already on my zl1 and I am a red guy over blue , and I can confirm I like this blue better bc I don’t think it was an option to even get blue threading so out of uniqueness it has to be cooler. Especially the gear box sleeve amazing

@@Bless0ne its not an overall video length issue... its a continual lead up to the point loop that happens to fill out a normal RUclips video that could be an actual short. Time wasted isn't good either way. Being a RUclips video doesn't automatically give you a free pass to pad things out unnecessarily.
