I WANT A 🎄 CHRISTMAS TREE SO BADLY! We were raised with one made by a family friend from Wisconsin. We live in Southern California & went back "home" every year while we were growing up. Each Christmas us 3 girls would get a choice to decorate the fireplace mantel, put the Nativity Scene out or put the tree together & install the little plastic ornaments on the tree. My Mom passed away in 1997 & when Dad sold the family home all of the decorations made the move but, the tree just vanished! We were heartbroken & since we're in CA those trees just can't be found. I'd even paint one myself if I could find one. Now, we're expecting our third Grand-Nephew & nothing would make me happier to get a tree to give to my younger sister so she can put it together with her Grandkids. Thanks, Yvonne & Chris... I love the channel & the way that you're making someone's old house into your new home. It's looking good! Stay safe, happy & healthy! 🙏💟🎄
Oh my gosh Yvonne! You weren’t kidding! I was introduced to antiques as a little girl by my mom. We went to antique shows for years and I have never seen such an incredible collection of amazing glassware! Truly beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much glass ware in one place. There was definitely some nice n beautiful pieces. In fact some I never heard of. It was educational for me that’s for sure. It overwhelms me how we both think alike. I would of bought those cute glass animals too. You had a small little white vase with no name on the bottom n I have one exactly like that too. Found it at Goodwill in the early 90tys. I thought it was unique. I collected milk glass back in the late 80tys but sold them cuz I fell in love with my Ironstone. I think you n Chris found a deal on the bookcases. You just never know what treasures you find😀. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟🌟

I’m not a glass person!! I am a clumsy person!! I tell my grandson to not touch stuff & guess who does and breaks it!! Me. Doesn’t mean I don’t Love glass tho!! Some Very Beautiful pieces!! There was a Beautiful blue & green piece that got my heart!! I wouldn’t even know how to be at an Auction!! Dad used to take us but was a young teenager and mostly bored!! How the auctioneer spoke and so fast was my amazement!! Thx Yvonne for sharing!!!❤
At the 8:40 mark there’s a 5 pc set of pottery, green swans. I was at a yard sale back around 1997 and that same set was being sold for $10. I told my rummage buddy that if he didn’t buy it, I would. He bought it and resold it for $50+ on eBay, WAY BACK THEN!
USA is California Pottery, there is still an open location in Los Angeles, California. I love it and have a pink swirl pot and pitcher that’s maroon. I love your collections! I collect crocks that are so rare here in California or they’re so expensive. I’ve collected since 1972, I have a small collection of 10. Love watching this video with my granddaughters.
Went to the fenton factory years ago, during the tour someone ask what was done with the broken or really flawed pieces,we went to the back of the factory where there was huge piles of colored glass,we where told they made shooter marbels and regular marbels. my mom had lots of fenton from the 60s thru the 80s,I don't collect, and I sold pieces at different garage sales we had,the most I sold a piece for was 15.00 call me a fool lol
I LOVE Fenton. I have a white basket/bowl and a light green beautiful bird with tiny pink roses. Love that little cat with the pink flowers. Just saw my white bowl with a handle. I’m literally drooling and breaking one of the Big Ten, lusting. You still did get a great haul.
What a dream come true to see all those beautiful goodies. Some of those pieces I have never seen before. Thanks for taking us along. You got some nice pieces. You are a busy 'lil Chick that's one thing for sure. You two had a wonderful day. God Bless. Hugs, Rebekah
Wow! That was a lot. I can't believe she kept it in the basement. I wonder if she had so much up stairs and then like with the seasons or something she would change out pieces. I love the milk glass you have, and those little animals, and the very tall red piece, and what a great deal on the book shelfs. God bless.
WOW ! WOW ! What a collection of glassware 😮So Glad you got to buy some glassware, and what a steal for those shelves 👍 Have an Awesome day till nxt time .🥰
The glass brown bunny and the red coin jar was made by Fostoria glass company that was in my home town, and my dad made the animals glass. The red jar should have a lid to.
All i could think of when the video first started was...is this one person's collection??? Then to find out it was and was stored in the basement, well that was mind blowing 😂 😮 What a dream auction that must have been for those who love glassware! 😊
Animals are more important than anyone’s decor! Hadn’t even noticed it! This was such an interesting collection!! Alit bit of any kind of glass! Glad you got to go! 27:00
Oh my! Had to pause and say OMG I NEEEEED a purple swirl glass piece! I have never seen it in purple!!!!! I had a good sized collection of Hull, because well, the name is mine 😂 …. Ok back to drooling
Love the milk glass and your orange glass bowl! The lady had a huge nice collection of glassware! Thanks for sharing, gives me ideas on what I’d like to start a collection with!
The lil Christmas Tree is the one item I like the most! There was sure a lot of glass there. I seen many pieces I would of loved to have but I know I couldn't keep up the bids with the high bidders. thanks for sharing Yvonne!!!
Yvonne, great auction! Your little stained glass lamp is a Dale Tiffany. I had an identical lamp that we sold in our antique booth. Wonderful deal on the wood shelves. TFS.
Wow! A lot of glass! I love the bunny that you got! I love you Fenton collection! I love the pineapple or artichoke things! Great find on the bookcases! God finds! Thanks for sharing!❤
Wow! Someone loved glass. I'm more of a pottery person, I love finding unique and usual pottery. All that stuff and no little mouse for Chris! I'm keeping an eye out for a tiny shelf sitting mouse for him because I agree, I think a little mouse would be darling on that wood piece y'all put up. I know you were hot but what fun looking through all those glass pieces. My mom would have swooned over the Alley Cats, she had quiet a collection herself. Take care, stay safe, see you soon! xx
What a collection! Wowsers! So glad you were able to get some of things you wanted. I got a red Fenton bird from my mom's stuff she was getting rid of. I didn't know it was Fenton at the time just thought it was pretty. Lol Thank you taking us along for the auction! ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my goodness! What a huge amount of Fenton, etc. Went to the Fenton factory years ago and was blown away by their beautiful glassware. So many awesome pieces. Glad you got your shelves and pieces of glassware. Happy you are back! 🤗
I love the milk glass swung vases! And I remember seeing them in your booth, the times you gave us a tour of your booth. Love, love, love your haul! 😊. P.S. USA can be Shawnee or American Bisque.
Oh man, you guys shoulda discussed it and got it cheap LOL! Now that Roadrunner, I would have bid till I was homeless for that! I set my mind on something….. LOL You still got a lot of great items!!!!
Glad that you were able to get the bookshelves! That will be great in the shop. I loved that you were able to get a few swung glass vases for your collection! Man, that was quite an auction!
Beautiful glassware! I don’t really collect any except for the green that glows in black light, don’t even know what it’s called but I have a bunch of it! Thanks for taking us along, it’s always fun to go!
This was a personal collection?😳 The last time I saw that much beautiful glass all at once, was in the cases at an antique mall in Springfield Ohio 😳😳😳
Love the glass, great auction. Did you think about painting the back of your corner shelf black? Those white vases would stand out. Love the way you decorate- just putting a thought out there.
Yvonne, please forgive my ignorance, but are you saying’swung’ vases? My friend had a piece of that milk glass with the three vases coming out the center (at 7:03). Someone told her it was worth &250, does that sound reasonable to you? I would have thought more, wouldn’t you? Thanks for sharing this amazing collection with us.
That is probably the base price.. color, fingers.. the mouth all go into consideration I believe.. I know you’d think I was talking about a face not a vase🤍
@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney try holding them up to sunlight or a really bright light and if you see some translucency where it looks like looking through heavy purple stained glass, then that's black amethyst, not just black glass. 💜
Holy cow! How can an auctioneer talk so much to get all that sold? Ive never been to an auction but does everything sell? That was an amazing collection.
Beautiful glass, but not my passion. It is a shame that it was kept in a basement. It should be displayed and showcased, but how many china cabinets can one have in their home?? I wouldn't want to be the person who has to dust it all. Happy to see that you were able to get some pretty pieces. Love the glass animals, so cute!!😊
That wasn't really the "high end" glassware. There is stuff way fancier Fenton that costs way more. This was the mid to lower end collectable. She may have been collecting this to have as an estate sale. This stuff was an investment. I'm doing that with jewelry for my estate and burial expenses so my children don't have to pay for it.
