I found the solution you have to put the two step authentication then put the device password for me it worked but I don't know if it will work for everyone

Nope. I got my ps5 back. Cool, right? They sent it back even more broken than it was. Yeah the disk drive works now but it goes into rest mode randomly and all of my save files are nonexistent. I have trophies for games that it says I’ve never played. So I will be getting my PS3 fixed file my PS5 is getting fixed… Again. and I will Let you know how I did it.

If it goes right back to the QR, when you generate a code screen shot it and then press done. Pull up the screen shot then go onto the PS3 and put the code in. That worked for me

so on ps3, before you sign into your account, you have to select a 'user' and your probably trying to sign in to 2 different account on 1 user
