So good to see you Becky! I started watching this video a couple of days ago then something happened that took me away. But I finally found it again and had to start over and watch the whole video from the start. I was truly mesmerized while watching these beautiful creations come to life. Your pumpkin theme turned out gorgeous in every aspect! Your technique is truly amazing! 😍 I'm always so impressed when I watch your videos! I'm a Texan and have been all my life. I grew up in a small town and after I graduated I moved to the city. I spent years away from home but I was only about thirty miles away. My parents and siblings were still in our hometown and I visited often. My last job of fifteen years kept moving around. It landed in a town that was only seventeen miles from my hometown. The job stayed in that town for ten years and I decided to move out of the city and return home. I've been back in my hometown going on ten years now. Although my parents are gone now, my sister and brother still live here. Texas is a big state with beauty all around. I've visited cities all around the state but there's no place better than home. I fully understand why you are moving and I think you'll be so happy to be home. They say you can't go home but whoever made that prophecy must not have had a good home. Having lived in other places, being home is the best place that really makes it feel like where I should be. And one of the things that makes it feel like home is family! As we age, the longing for family grows stronger. The comfort that family gives you is priceless! I moved to an apartment when I first came home. After seven years I decided to move again and will be in the new apartment for three years in a couple of months. Have I mentioned how much I hate moving? Never again! So I know exactly what you're going through and can totally sympathize. The exhaustion from moving is like no other. But the excitement of your destination keeps you going and the comfort you feel when everything is at your new place will leave you satisfied. I'll be thinking of you and this new adventure and wishing you well on your journey. ❣️ Congratulations on your move and the best of luck along the way! Thank you so much Vickie; the pumpkins turned out better than I expected! My dad was in the Navy, so I’ve never lived in Tennessee. Each summer we traveled to see all my mom and dad’s family. Everyone lived there except us! My parents moved back to Tennessee in 2008, and my mom died in 2009. Then our daughter’s job transferred her to Tennessee in 2017. I have a sister here in Florida (I gave her those pumpkins!) and all my hubby’s family live here in Florida. Tennessee has always held a special place in my heart, and we are excited for the next stage of our lives with family there. And you’re right, the excitement keeps me going. Although I had a crying meltdown while packing my craft room yesterday. It’s like a clown car, stuff just keeps coming out of those shelves. 🤣 My sister is setting up her own craft room, so I gave her lots of fun things. Kinda like a crafters starter bundle! Your pumpkins inspired me to make smaller ones with a small set of varied sized leaf stamps. On white, I stamped various size leaves in black and they are wonderful, thanks to your idea. No one around here has them, but I’ll sell them at the flea market after I dress them up. What a classy piece of art. I hemming and hawing if I should watercolor them, can’t decide. Maybe I’ll do two sets and paint the other! Best pumpkins I’ve ever seen! TY so much!

The IOD stamps are just beautiful. I love the pieces to let you stamp over them. We use to stamp on sticky pads to do that effect. I love the clear stamps. I'm a Texan and have been all my life. I grew up in a small town and after I graduated I moved to the city. I spent years away from home but I was only about thirty miles away. My parents and siblings were still in our hometown and I visited often.
My last job of fifteen years kept moving around. It landed in a town that was only seventeen miles from my hometown. The job stayed in that town for ten years and I decided to move out of the city and return home. I've been back in my hometown going on ten years now.
Although my parents are gone now, my sister and brother still live here.
Texas is a big state with beauty all around. I've visited cities all around the state but there's no place better than home.
I fully understand why you are moving and I think you'll be so happy to be home. They say you can't go home but whoever made that prophecy must not have had a good home.
Having lived in other places, being home is the best place that really makes it feel like where I should be.
And one of the things that makes it feel like home is family! As we age, the longing for family grows stronger. The comfort that family gives you is priceless!
I moved to an apartment when I first came home. After seven years I decided to move again and will be in the new apartment for three years in a couple of months. Have I mentioned how much I hate moving? Never again!
So I know exactly what you're going through and can totally sympathize. The exhaustion from moving is like no other. But the excitement of your destination keeps you going and the comfort you feel when everything is at your new place will leave you satisfied.
I'll be thinking of you and this new adventure and wishing you well on your journey. ❣️

Thank you so much Vickie; the pumpkins turned out better than I expected! My dad was in the Navy, so I’ve never lived in Tennessee. Each summer we traveled to see all my mom and dad’s family. Everyone lived there except us! My parents moved back to Tennessee in 2008, and my mom died in 2009. Then our daughter’s job transferred her to Tennessee in 2017. I have a sister here in Florida (I gave her those pumpkins!) and all my hubby’s family live here in Florida. Tennessee has always held a special place in my heart, and we are excited for the next stage of our lives with family there. And you’re right, the excitement keeps me going. Although I had a crying meltdown while packing my craft room yesterday. It’s like a clown car, stuff just keeps coming out of those shelves. 🤣 My sister is setting up her own craft room, so I gave her lots of fun things. Kinda like a crafters starter bundle! Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers and I will see you soon!

Your pumpkins inspired me to make smaller ones with a small set of varied sized leaf stamps. On white, I stamped various size leaves in black and they are wonderful, thanks to your idea. No one around here has them, but I’ll sell them at the flea market after I dress them up. What a classy piece of art. I hemming and hawing if I should watercolor them, can’t decide. Maybe I’ll do two sets and paint the other! Best pumpkins I’ve ever seen! TY so much!

I need to do that in person because the days go so quickly and he and his baby brother are growing way too fast. The IOD stamps are just beautiful. I love the pieces to let you stamp over them. We use to stamp on sticky pads to do that effect. I love the clear stamps. The balls out of the torn paper were beautiful. too! You are so gifted. Congrats on your big move. My hubby and I moved from Phoenix to PA to be back to living near family. Have a safe move.
