The engineer was made to stand its ground without any support. It is a good all-rounder tower for any stage or any type of zombies. I would say, if sentries could see hiddens, it would be one of the best dps towers to pick
When supports are forced meta, that advantage is moot. You are always going to be bringing a support, and once you do engis inability to be buffed by them shows.
That's what I like about the engineer, you got a jack of all trades for just one slot which comes really handy in solo and duo Still I don't like that it looks nothing like a hardcore tower compared to mister ray of doom

9:39 the thing about accels chargeup (assuming it's max) is that, if it's in the absolute worst case scenario (attacking glitches on a straight path) it will still be able to get them. and only attacking late into the range shouldn't matter much as the dps will shred the fast enemies, and by the time errors are spawning, you should have several max level accels which will kill them faster than they run.
It's kinda bad when you realize that if the units from the military base couldn't move at all, it'd be more cost efficient and deal more dps than the TURRET. I'd honestly love if this were a glitch. It isn't game-breaking like slowing down all enemies severely and doing 1200 damage PER TICK, but it still shows that the military base while usually D Tier, can occasionally be GODLY.
@@AkuLovesCats There was a glitch that if you had a military base and high amounts of lag the military base would be basically invincible. Thus dealing 1200 dmg per tick. If you had a god pc and somehow lag and still get high tps (maybe 40). Then you would get 1200 dps × 40/tps. 1200×40=48000 dps. I remember in a vid it soloed the fallen king in 2 seconds. Possibly 75k dps at its finest.
By the way, forgot to mention, accel's dps at max lvl with cta is NOT 443.7, its actually around 366.7, bc of the fact that Accel overheats a lot faster with commander's cta buff. Accel doesn't actually fully benefit from Commander, but it still benefits more than engineer
@@femurbreaker0o they’re right. It’s damage per second, not damage per burst window. Which means that for most of the CTA buff, it’s not performing at all, due to its overheat and recharge.

Since this is reworked Accel, it now overcharges based on damage dealt. The higher the dps, the faster it'll overcharge. The faster it'll overcharge, the more often Accel won't attack. The more often Accel won't attack, the lesser the potential dps he could've gotten. This applies with Commander's cta, it still buffs the Accel quite a lot, but only about 30% instead of the stated 55% (its still better than pre-reworked Accel's dps with cta and pursuit)

Solid ranking. The ranking was right, but the thing you got wrong is that Accel with CTA does only about 359. Cause, you have to factor into the DPS eq. that having a higher DPS will reach the 3,000 overcharge threshold faster. More DPS = more down time = diminishing returns
Overcharge doesn’t make a difference at all bc let’s say accelerator does 4 overcharges every wave, with the commander buff it can do 5 overcharges bc it’s fills up it’s overcharge much faster thus making it pump out more value and damage

accel gets fully buffed by commander? doubt. accels overcharge is based just on how much damage is death and it not timed, so if you do more dps, the charge ends faster. this means, that with commander, accel's burst time gets shortened a considerable amount. if you run the numbers through the dps equation for accel with making the attack speed 1.55x faster to accomodate for commander (the dps equation is DPS is calculated as Overcharge ÷ (Charge-Up + Cooldown + [Overcharge/Damage x Tick])). this gives accel a dps of 360 with commander, only an ~20% buff imo this put accel pretty equal to ranger due to rangers other advantages like 40 range and unstunnability
It’s not 360. The dps with commander is somewhere around 390-410 because commander only affects the tick of the accel not the charge or cooldown or burst.

I can see why you put turret in last place because of the mid cost efficiency but I think it makes a good sub dps if you have accel but not engi for example specifically for polluted and badlands where u get mad cash as it has the third highest DPS in the game. Basically in a game you wouldn’t place 10 pursuits over 6 engis+4 gold minis for example. but still W video from Corso and glad you’re back to normal upload schedule

Just saying, accelerator is only partially buffed by commander. Commander only buffs its firerate and not its overcharge, charge up, or cooldown. This gives it a dps of approximately 380 dps. Because the accelerator is only attacking for around 3.9 seconds out of 7.9 seconds(4 seconds for charge up and cool down), this more than halves its dps compared to when it is attacking

hidden detection doesn’t really matter for dps towers, because you only have 2 hidden enemies and your early game towers which nearly every single one besides paintballer and demo have hd and can handle hiddens but other then that good vid
Something Corso Didn't point out, Especially weird because he mentions it in the Next towers Section is the fact That Pursuit Has Lead Detection, Meaning it too can detect Lead Balloons. And doing the math it actually gets it lead detection for Cheaper than ranger! Ranger Gets Its Lead Detection at Level 3 for a total of $14025!!!!! While Pursuit only costs $5850!! Thats less than HALF of rangers cost for lead detection, making it a good choice against the early game leads and the lead bosses.

I think ranger will always be the best tower due to how insane it’s range helps it a lot and that’s why it’s so strong it can always do the same dps but it hits the entire map plus it’s has insane versatility and it becomes deadly with commander

I would see the Golden Minigunner as the 'constant-fire' alternative to the Accelerator. While Accelerator does deal extreme amounts of damage, it still pauses at times whenever it overheats. The Golden Minigunner is notably weaker, but has no placement limits and it constantly fires.

I agree with the rankings, but I feel number 2 and 3 could go either way. also a few corrections: 1. gold mini lv 3 is actually the lv with the best cost to dps value, doing 5.2 dps per 1000$ 2. pursuit lv 1 is actually the lv with the best cost to dps value, doing 7.95 dps per 1000$. For lv 2 to have a higher dps than lv 1, the rockets would have to hit at least 2 enemies. I also want to mention that lv 1 gives you lead penetration and because it flies, it can also attack flying enemy. The only difference with ranger is that it has crap targeting which is why I said number 2 and 3 could go either way depending how much you value the pursuit's 400 extra dps vs ranger's good targeting.
technically, accel can down the molten boss (without charging OR cooldown) in somewhere 20 seconds but with charging and cooldown, we can say something like more than 30 seconds, great overall, but one problem is the damage overload, if we still had the seconds charge, it could have done great dps.
I disagree with the accelerator being first, mainly because of the overcharge mechanic. The accelerator can only do a set 3600 damage before charging up, so if you buff it with commander, the accelerator is basically still going to do the same amount of damage, just in a shorter period of time.
My rating: overall it was EXTREMLY good bro, everything was right (almost), but i have 3 things i wanna say, 1st, the maximum of an tower you can play won't matter that much, because the higher the maximum is the more you need to spend on it to get it to maximum, so the turret and the engi should be ranked atleast 1 higher,2nd thing,the ranger can do very good damage to enemies with high health, but it struggles ALOT while dealing with breakers,if you spend too much on rangers and too ,ow ampunts into stuff that can handle breakers or crowds, you are basically dead,3rd, the accelorator is really expensive too, and if you play fallen or smth with alot of stuns and u dont have medic, you will do MUCH less damage because after the accelorators are free'd from being stunned they need a little bit of time to load their "laser canon" or idk what that is, done. Engi is sometimes overrated and sometimes underrated
but, usually mortar hits hidden enemy's because of it's splash damage while sniper is useful on wave 13 and 15, the mortar is good for wave 24, with enemies that aren't hidden.
ranger is like accel for begginer or middle leveled players to use and beat bosses.ranger is one of my fav towers with minigunner.both bc is useful.ranger for main damage mini for extra help to kill hiddens.

I think the best dps is 1accelerator combine with commander coa it will overheat faster and does insane dps that can kill major bosses 2 golden mini you can spam him 3 ranger with those high dmg can kill major bosses a lot fast 4 engineer the explosion of sentries does a lot of dmg but it will ran out and it cannot get buffed by commander and dj
Assuming if we ignore the cooldown of accelerator and we only care about the dmg it does it would have have 462 dps and with commander buff it would have 1028 dps which is kinda cool considering in maxxed lvl we almost do not see the accel use cooldown anymore since the overcharge is 3000 its mostly why it has lower dps than the other towers but still have the greatest dmg
Everyone forgot shotgunner AKA (by me) highest damage at early defense and militant AKA (by also me) a good tower that can change minigunner at early defense
7:38 Let me correct your mistake @CORSO, the pursuit can detect leads on lvl 3 with the machine gun, so pursuit can still be better than ranger in that aspect, because he can deal damage both crowd and single target

I think that they should bring back an old feature, on the old tower sentry there was a chance that a teddy bear would spawn on it, giving it hidden detection, or they can buff the engineers damage from 50 to 100 , so commander and dj would actually help it, and it would be better for hiddens and baloons

actually lvl 3 golden mini is the most cost efficient because max as dps of $225 for 1 dps while lvl 3 has a dps of $195 for 1 dps 7:39 pursuit can do the same thing the ranger's range doesnt matter on small maps and you don't even need that much of the map to maximize its potential
ranger with dj booth can have full map range if you place it on top of the vulprint bouilding in cyber city wich is insaen for speedy bosses and so much more💀
Noting that the golden mini has a 100% strength boost, it should have way more than 103.45 dps, and with max commander chain, it would do 20 damage per 0.06 seconds, so that is roughly 320 dps rather than 103.45.
My opinion 6. Turret reason: it’s ridiculously expensive 5. Pursuit reason: It is great for crowd control but it have no hidden detention and bad targeting 4. Engineer reason: it’s good on all stages but it’s bad because sentries no hidden detection and no buff 3. Gold mini reason: it’s great for late game and no place limit but the problem is it’s price 2. Ranger reason: it’s used in hardcore and it does massive DPS and it does not have hidden detection 1. Accel reason: even tho it needs to charge its laser is op and it literally turns enemies into ashes
Just wanted to state that accelerator does not have 443 dps, the damage cap still exists and so does the 4 second cooldown. Regularly it takes 10 seconds (6 of firing+4 of cooldown) for the 3000 damage, but with commander its like 3.5-4~ seconds of firing and STILL 4 seconds of cooldown, which is like 380 dps or something along the lines of that.
9:10 keep in mind that with the merc base, you can also get a 20% dqmage buff so I'd say that for people with it, that it is a really good tower and a better option than engineer
Current accel cant get fully buff, it only get 60% boost and not 100% boost Even current engineer without support have higher dps that accel with commander and mercenary
Ranger does not deserve second. Although he has high damage and high range he is really only good for shredding bigger bosses which towers like accel, pursuit, and engineer do almost just as good at. Almost forgot to mention the fact ranger has no hidden detection on top of that. Ranger just isn't worth it for his high cost, really only comes in handy in hardcore sometimes.

Accelerator charge can be slightly helped by Sledger if you have it by its freeze ability works even better with commander max sledger and commander gives it a insane attack speed.

I've done calculations and if you see commander makes towers shoot faster which means over time they do more damage and that means the accel will do the 3k damage to overheat Faster. If you calculate dps (check wiki for formula) It'll be 360 dps Which means the commander does not fully buff it. Also if you do calculations you may say this is wrong but this may be Due to you using wrong firerate boost formula, Instead of decreasing by 55% you use this formula: Original Firerate ÷ (1+Firerate Boost), OR ((Original Firerate-Firerate Bug Increase) ÷ (1+Firerate Boost)) + Firerate Bug Increase With firerate bug. If you didn't understand the formula if you have bing you can ask the ai, i think chatgpt also works, but i also can tell how, you simply divide a number by 1,(Firerate-Boost) for example a 40% boost you decrease firerate by 1,40, The firerate boost is in decimal form.for exempla 10% boost is 0.1 more to divide. That's a mistake he did and that will bring misinformation... Also even if you did use the old firerate boost formula it actually would still have more dps than without commander (443 dps)
to give you an idea on how op accel is, me and my friends beat polluted FIRST TRY by spamming 32 accels and chaining. of course there were other towers but accel mainly did the dps
You really forgot something. Accelerstor CAN'T be fully buffed by commander because charge up and overcharge can't be buffed by commander. The only thing which is buffed by commander is his cool down to 3k dmg, without commander it is 6 seconds and with commander it is 4.5 seconds.

btw corso, the pursuit's bullets can damage lead enemies, so it can deal with lead balloons as well as the ranger

Just saying, accelerator is only partially buffed by commander. Commander only buffs its firerate and not its overcharge, charge up, or cooldown. This gives it a dps of approximately 380 dps. Because the accelerator is only attacking for around 3.9 seconds out of 7.9 seconds(4 seconds for charge up and cool down), this more than halves its dps compared to when it is attacking

hidden detection doesn’t really matter for dps towers, because you only have 2 hidden enemies and your early game towers which nearly every single one besides paintballer and demo have hd and can handle hiddens but other then that good vid
it kinda does in hardcore though

Something Corso Didn't point out, Especially weird because he mentions it in the Next towers Section is the fact That Pursuit Has Lead Detection, Meaning it too can detect Lead Balloons. And doing the math it actually gets it lead detection for Cheaper than ranger! Ranger Gets Its Lead Detection at Level 3 for a total of $14025!!!!! While Pursuit only costs $5850!! Thats less than HALF of rangers cost for lead detection, making it a good choice against the early game leads and the lead bosses.

I think ranger will always be the best tower due to how insane it’s range helps it a lot and that’s why it’s so strong it can always do the same dps but it hits the entire map plus it’s has insane versatility and it becomes deadly with commander

@@kennedy9773 it's dps is beaten by a lot of towers, it os very expensive, it doesn't even see hiddens, it is only used in hardcore because of metal balloons, and for other gamemodes just use mortar, it is very good, has great splash and cluster bombs
I would see the Golden Minigunner as the 'constant-fire' alternative to the Accelerator. While Accelerator does deal extreme amounts of damage, it still pauses at times whenever it overheats. The Golden Minigunner is notably weaker, but has no placement limits and it constantly fires.

I agree with the rankings, but I feel number 2 and 3 could go either way.
also a few corrections:
1. gold mini lv 3 is actually the lv with the best cost to dps value, doing 5.2 dps per 1000$
2. pursuit lv 1 is actually the lv with the best cost to dps value, doing 7.95 dps per 1000$. For lv 2 to have a higher dps than lv 1, the rockets would have to hit at least 2 enemies. I also want to mention that lv 1 gives you lead penetration and because it flies, it can also attack flying enemy. The only difference with ranger is that it has crap targeting which is why I said number 2 and 3 could go either way depending how much you value the pursuit's 400 extra dps vs ranger's good targeting.
technically, accel can down the molten boss (without charging OR cooldown) in somewhere 20 seconds
but with charging and cooldown, we can say something like more than 30 seconds, great overall, but one problem is the damage overload, if we still had the seconds charge, it could have done great dps.

I disagree with the accelerator being first, mainly because of the overcharge mechanic. The accelerator can only do a set 3600 damage before charging up, so if you buff it with commander, the accelerator is basically still going to do the same amount of damage, just in a shorter period of time.

My rating: overall it was EXTREMLY good bro, everything was right (almost), but i have 3 things i wanna say, 1st, the maximum of an tower you can play won't matter that much, because the higher the maximum is the more you need to spend on it to get it to maximum, so the turret and the engi should be ranked atleast 1 higher,2nd thing,the ranger can do very good damage to enemies with high health, but it struggles ALOT while dealing with breakers,if you spend too much on rangers and too ,ow ampunts into stuff that can handle breakers or crowds, you are basically dead,3rd, the accelorator is really expensive too, and if you play fallen or smth with alot of stuns and u dont have medic, you will do MUCH less damage because after the accelorators are free'd from being stunned they need a little bit of time to load their "laser canon" or idk what that is, done.
Engi is sometimes overrated and sometimes underrated
What about Mortar? It's pretty darn good. It also has slightly better hidden detection than Ranger because it has Splash DMG

Sniper is the only Cliff tower with hidden detection
but, usually mortar hits hidden enemy's because of it's splash damage while sniper is useful on wave 13 and 15, the mortar is good for wave 24, with enemies that aren't hidden.

ranger is like accel for begginer or middle leveled players to use and beat bosses.ranger is one of my fav towers with minigunner.both bc is useful.ranger for main damage mini for extra help to kill hiddens.
One of the new updates made it cost more but it does about 1000 dmg

2 golden mini you can spam him

4 engineer the explosion of sentries does a lot of dmg but it will ran out and it cannot get buffed by commander and dj

Assuming if we ignore the cooldown of accelerator and we only care about the dmg it does it would have have 462 dps and with commander buff it would have 1028 dps which is kinda cool considering in maxxed lvl we almost do not see the accel use cooldown anymore since the overcharge is 3000 its mostly why it has lower dps than the other towers but still have the greatest dmg
Everyone forgot shotgunner AKA (by me) highest damage at early defense and militant AKA (by also me) a good tower that can change minigunner at early defense
But they don’t do good late game dps which all the towers on this list do

I think that they should bring back an old feature, on the old tower sentry there was a chance that a teddy bear would spawn on it, giving it hidden detection, or they can buff the engineers damage from 50 to 100 , so commander and dj would actually help it, and it would be better for hiddens and baloons

If Im correct, Turret's whole idea that its stun proof, and I believe it used to be stun proof before the new rebalance updates
Noting that the golden mini has a 100% strength boost, it should have way more than 103.45 dps, and with max commander chain, it would do 20 damage per 0.06 seconds, so that is roughly 320 dps rather than 103.45.

Just wanted to state that accelerator does not have 443 dps, the damage cap still exists and so does the 4 second cooldown. Regularly it takes 10 seconds (6 of firing+4 of cooldown) for the 3000 damage, but with commander its like 3.5-4~ seconds of firing and STILL 4 seconds of cooldown, which is like 380 dps or something along the lines of that.

9:10 keep in mind that with the merc base, you can also get a 20% dqmage buff so I'd say that for people with it, that it is a really good tower and a better option than engineer

Ranger does not deserve second. Although he has high damage and high range he is really only good for shredding bigger bosses which towers like accel, pursuit, and engineer do almost just as good at. Almost forgot to mention the fact ranger has no hidden detection on top of that. Ranger just isn't worth it for his high cost, really only comes in handy in hardcore sometimes.

Accelerator charge can be slightly helped by Sledger if you have it by its freeze ability works even better with commander max sledger and commander gives it a insane attack speed.

That's correct Except for the fact that it does NOT decrease dps. I've done calculations and if you see commander makes towers shoot faster which means over time they do more damage and that means the accel will do the 3k damage to overheat Faster. If you calculate dps (check wiki for formula) It'll be 360 dps Which means the commander does not fully buff it. Also if you do calculations you may say this is wrong but this may be Due to you using wrong firerate boost formula, Instead of decreasing by 55% you use this formula: Original Firerate ÷ (1+Firerate Boost), OR ((Original Firerate-Firerate Bug Increase) ÷ (1+Firerate Boost)) + Firerate Bug Increase With firerate bug. If you didn't understand the formula if you have bing you can ask the ai, i think chatgpt also works, but i also can tell how, you simply divide a number by 1,(Firerate-Boost) for example a 40% boost you decrease firerate by 1,40, The firerate boost is in decimal form.for exempla 10% boost is 0.1 more to divide. That's a mistake he did and that will bring misinformation... Also even if you did use the old firerate boost formula it actually would still have more dps than without commander (443 dps)

to give you an idea on how op accel is, me and my friends beat polluted FIRST TRY by spamming 32 accels and chaining. of course there were other towers but accel mainly did the dps

Accelerstor CAN'T be fully buffed by commander because charge up and overcharge can't be buffed by commander. The only thing which is buffed by commander is his cool down to 3k dmg, without commander it is 6 seconds and with commander it is 4.5 seconds.
