You have the massive fifth wheels and giant RVs. I doubt this would work for an American as the sizes are too small.

Love, love the look of the Toyota Hiace in general....wish they sold them in the states...they would be extremely popular which is why we will never see it here. The Hiace would take to much of a chunk of Toyoto's own line of suvs and minivans.

the step, on the door. would be nice to climb, roof. to sun bath. in safe spot. sun bathing on top. unless solar panel are used, but they can be disconnected. to sun bathing.
Am I missing something? Just one example, the Senkisoh camper @ 12:04 is priced at 7,166,800 yen, which translated to $65,934.56.... Very nice camper. Nicer than any American campers I have seen so far. And, that is not without considering the price. Anyway, there are no campers in America at $65,000 that is this nice. Interior-wise, Leisure Travel looks like one of the nicer ones. But, they have their campers in one of those bulbous things where the sides flare out after the driver cabin using either Mercedes Sprinter chassis or Ford chassis. The Senkisoh on the other hand is in a regular van shapee (no flares that stick out) that has a high roof, which is great for headroom. And, it even has a short nose for great visibility and drivability. Not even talking about how no one in America is using this chassis much else the price for what you get with it. What am I missing? How is this van only $65K?
I imagine the price of the van itself plays a role in the lower camper cost. The HiAce van, which is the base for all the campers featured in the video are smaller vans with smaller engines and therefore lower cost. Also, the furnishings are limited, they're not built like houses on wheels but more like tents you can drive.

Yeah, American Camper/RV companies is an example of this third-worldliness feeling I get being an American. Both in quality and in the feeling of being ripped off.
New ideas for RV suggest in order to safe space why not add in @ the back of the RV with [ loadinding & unloading platform with hyraulic that can be folded and up and down - behind the RV for outdoor BBQ pit 0r as balcony ]

why you never show driver's compartment. control position. are just as important as comfort. no campers have grills. with vented fans, easy wipe walls. even a mini oven, with auto-matic shut off. not everyone use a microwave. I am old fashion. grill/bake.
