I never knew that about the sweep. Looks good, but part of me does think it is pricey considering the tried and tested brands you can get for the price, but as a lover of French culture it really appeals to me.
Thanks for the review! Finally I found a video review of this watch. Do you mind sharing your wrist size and the lug-to-lug height of the watch? On many photos it looks like it overhangs the wrist and the lugs are pretty long
Cheers, Chris. Appreciate the review. Thanks for posting. Have been looking at this one with the white dial. I think they've got all the details spot on - hand length, crown size etc which are often a let-down. Case with polished bezel looks good, too. Perhaps you could have mentioned the WR (or lack of) but that's not an issue for me. The VH31 movement is a bonus.
Thanks for the quick review. I believe the latest models listed on their website in Sept. 2020 have a Ronda 513 movement in them that doesn't have the higher-beat second hand featured in this video. Shame.
I found the distinction, the LMM-01 original is fitted with the Ronda 513. (no sweep) The LMM-01 Field Watch had the Seiko VH31 with sweeping second hand. Just thought I'd leave my original comment for anyone looking at buying this.
The watch is beautiful. But..... Precista PRS-10 adds double dome sapphire. Standards 20mm lug width, 100m WR, 10 year battery life. C3 Lume. For similar price. Might be worth a look. Genuine British heritage aswell as it's design is that of a Falklands era British issue watch. Mabee that's a future review for you ;-)

You need to keep the watch still for longer in your review. I was starting to feel seasick! Looks a lot like a Stowa Partitio

How has this held up?
Who came here because of Hodinkee just posted that the watch is back in stock?
haha yes! Just ordered the Hodinkee one :D.
Thanks for the review. How's the lume? 50WR?
Good video ! Do you think a 20mm strap can go on this model ?
Great review Chris. Field watches are what I like I wear. Do you know the lug to lug length. Thanks, Brian.

Good review 👍
I like these but I wonder why they left out the bezel....
Hey I just bought mine but it’s not ticking, do I have to wind it even though it’s a quartz
No. Quartz watches are run by batteries. You may have a faulty battery.

what else do you recommend for an entry level field watch?
Ok go buy one
@@aristotle1326 Have done!
Lol that is 100% a slow tick and not very good imo. It’s a nice looking watch but Hamilton’s are better
And more expensive. I want a Hamilton Murph. For the price, I think this one comes very close.
