The Kardashev scale is a theoretical framework for quantifying the amount of energy a space faring civilization (such as ours) is able to utilize. The notion that bitcoin mining uses "too much" energy therefore it must be "bad" or "curtailed" is a non sequitur. The more a civilization advances the more energy it requires and the more it will have to find a way to generate. To suggest otherwise as some collectivist/green/environmentalist types seem inclined to do, is technologically repressive and morally bankrupt. If a genius inventor were to construct a working star-ship in his own back yard - one that would require say 90% of the worlds total energy output for one year in order to charge up "the warp coils" for its maiden flight; then the only valid question anybody else has any business asking in regard to the inventor's energy use, is whether his gargantuan electric bill is likely to be paid on time so additional energy can be generated to offset the shortfall.
Ref Inflation comment: Foods getting smaller and lesser quality. Even the new iPhone ships without headphones and a battery charger. Thats inflation Michael
he is saying that inflation rates will always be super low because there is almost nothing that is used to calculate inflation rates...food isn't, energy isn't, assets aren't...only random shit which is always gonna be the same price...so yes inflation is occurring, but it will never be classified as inflation, that's what he's saying in case you missed it.
@@nGUNNARp I didn't "miss" anything. The problem is you are speaking "American" and Im speaking English! Inflation rates will not be "super low"! Inflation" by definition is the inflation of the monetary supply leading to the decline of purchasing power of the given currency over time. You can fluff it up and make up your own meaning of the word and reclassify without any authority to do so. Which Americans tend to do. But it doesn't change the real meaning in the English language and English dictionary.
It be nice to have a think tank to set up, on the side biensûr, an international micro loan/grants platform with a self funding treaury from divs of staked BTC reserves. Statistically 95% of micro loans are repaid. Lovely... To think of the sheer amount of releif created is a nectar for my mind... 🍐Pear nectar🍐
I am myself a bitcoin maximalist, but to equate 15% return to a 0% real return does not make sense, given that inflation has likely peaked and is on a slow but steady decline.

Don't worry about asking questions guys, Michael Gigachad Saylor has got this.
Always ask questions! These people are trying to rob you. You dont need these people to invest in bitcoin. Go build a program that pays bitcoin.
🧡💛💚💙 Michael Saylor is a VERY strong mind to have in the Bitcoin camp! 🧡💛💚💙
I think this is the best answer to the 'are you concerned with bitcoin energy consumption' question I've ever heard. 17:04
energy efficiency = resilience and scale, bitcoin will get its upgrade when a robust enough solution comes
Timely Comments from you and Chad Saylor.
