this was the first car I drove (when I was 10). ours was only a 350. and it had the bucket seat option with the horseshoe shifter and A/C that would freeze your ass off.
Looks to be an original SS454. Has that rare black rubber bumper strip on the back bumper. It’s missing the factory load leveler compressor in the driver’s side inner fender. Engine sounds good.
69chevelleman Sport mirror? Front emblem on grill have the Roman numeral 1971? Also the center console ? Not on Column? Load leveler? Maybe different options?? But nice car tho!!

No bucket seats or center gloveb9x?
They were separate options that weren't included in the SS454 package. Chevelles were the same way. Many SS cars have a bench seat.
Just what I want. Old lady bench, PW, AC, and even power door locks with a 454!

The console, sport mirror, bucket seats, vinyl top, tachometer, A/C are all optional even on the SS. Load leveler was standard on the SS.
69chevelleman Im sure the Chevellles had all different options also. Anyways I wish I can find one.
Robert LaPointe The “I” and the “o” are right next to each other. I have fat fingers. Oh ... read your comment, you forgot a period. Gotcha!!!
@@styga1969Every '70 and '71 had the year in Roman numerals on the grille emblem, not just Super Sports.
