- Dar Es Salaam Tanzania has changed! BRT Phase 4 Work has started. BRT Phase 4 is a project that involves the construction of a terminal at Kivukoni that will accommodate buses plying the Tegeta, Mbezi and Gongolamboto routes. The infrastructure development for the phase will start once the architectural designs for depot in Gongolamboto and bus station at Julius Kambarage Nyerere International Airport are completed. The designs for BRT infrastructure development for DART Phase 4 started in July 2019 and the draft is already in place

No flyover in this project but the gvt searching for fund to construct two flyover on mwenge and Morocco junction
Dar es salaam has tiny roads. It needs more highways like 4lanes in each side to reduce traffic. Also they should remove motorcycles and tricycles in the city, they make the city more chaotic.
I agree on motocycles and tricycles. But the real traffic of Dar always happen near junctions eg, morocco, mwenge, Magomeni, Buguruni etc. The best solution is to construct simple flyovers and interchanges there like the way they did at Ubungo. And actually there is plan of constructing those flyovers.
