I just started sewing/binding my own “field notes” books. I love the idea of keeping my prayer list in the back and move backwards as new ones come on and older ones roll off. I’m also a leather worker so I definitely need to make a wrap like that. God bless.
One of the best parts of these every day carry pocket notebook leather covers is the patina developed over the years of use - so if mine broke I would be incredibly heartbroken! Also, no one ever talks about paper republic; they have such a great company culture and the leather is such great quality - and vegetable tanned. No use of chrome, which is really hard to find in these leather covers! I'm obsessed with my red leather pocket size. I can't wait for the patina. I've been obsessively watching youtube videos about set up and use. Super hyper-fixated on these rn.
I'll have to check them out! I'd love to do more stationary focused content in the future. I'm also a big fan of seeing how leather wears over time. One of the big benefits of being a bible lover, too 😎
I just got mine today and I am impressed with how sturdy it is! For EDC I am planning on being super basic, but for my upcoming México trip I am sooooo tempted to use inserts!! I can’t wait to make and write memories using this cover. God bless you!

@@stanislavrico i didn't know the concept, i'm use it for general notetaking and because of that the product name "Pocket Traveler Notebook" was only a "name" for me, and not a concept hahaha. But now i'm converted.
It's good to find someone with a similar mind. I love Moleskin Cahier series for many reasons including the ones you mentioned. Field Notes or TN inserts never worked for me. I use this exact cover for some of my Cahiers and I also use JJNUSA leather cover for pocket notebooks (also inexpensive compred to other options) that can hold two (three if you push) Cahiers.
I was looking at the Traveler's Company options but your video sold me on this system. I think it will work for my need to have instant access to my notes, but also keep my hands free as much as possible. Thank you!

Well done ...I like your organizational management skillz in your pocket EDC journal. Having a "GET SH!T DONE" list on the back of the book, makes alot more sense than my system...which is in the middle of the book ...it takes a bit of time, to locate it unless I highlight the edges of that section.
Thank you! I almost chose to do mine in the middle, too, but I was worried my notes would fill up faster than my to do lists. I needed a way to use up my notebook space as efficiently as possible.

I have the Traveler's size version, it's so superior to the Traveler's Company brand which is so much more expensive. Agree with every point you made, and having multiple notebooks bound together, compartmentalized for different purposes, is a killer feature. Plus, the longer you use it and.. abuse (!) it, the better it looks..

Despite it not being Christian. As Christians I think it’s okay to like/appreciate and even love non Christian works (love not worship or idolize). As long as it doesn’t draw us away from the love of God and the grace of a Christ.
Let no one get between you and God. God is in the highest places and the lowest places. If you saw God in a "nonchristian" thing, that is good! God works through all religioms and belief systems, even witchcraft.
No 'need' but for me, the deliberate, mindful act of writing down a prayer... or any Biblical passage.. or quotes from movies, books... makes it more 'real' to me and reenforces its importance.

The way you got multiple notebooks in there with the extra elastic band is pretty clever.

I have this size and the A5...the A5 is gorgeous and built well...September leather aka Newestor is a good alternative to traveller's company

I write down prayer requests, specifically, in order to remember what I need to pray for.
