@@JustinMcNabbIreland find something thats extremely active, check the trends and other currencies and see whats all happening and decide how I want to sit on it. Then if im not working I keep my eye on it and sell when I can make a decent profit, or if I am at work, ride the wave until I get home then watch for my outs since mid day things get a little bit fast paced and trying to micro manage trades is very hard at that pace. You'll lose just on inability to keep up.
Less trades more confidence in those trades and overall just realize that by giving you the guidelines for the challenge they actually keep your head on about minimizing risk.
Then there's always the good old "crap i bought when I should sell"
So you reverse position and wait for both to turn a profit, which turns into a swing trade but whatever profits. Patience is key. Losses aren't sealed til the deal is closed. The only thing I'm using the demo for is to not lose on forcing closed my week ending trades.
So summarized mostly day trades with some swing when I have to sit on the losses and wait for them to profit.

It's only making you more impulsive toward taking the challenge thinking you also can do it
Then you actually forgot your own edge. But you already bought the challenge, so now you have to pass the challenge with uncertainty whether you pass or not
Mind you the passing rate is not favorable.
Brother stop focusing on other peoples direction, every one trades, analyses and executes differently, look within yourself and search for the inspiration in your own methods and I'm convinced you will be a FTMO trader! Good luck!

These winning FTMO challenge reviews would be made 10x better by having the trader on as well, talking you through their trades. You could incentivise this cooperation with e.g. a free challenge

Hello, i have a question. Lets say you start your ftmo challenge quite well, then have a really bad day. On this day you nearly reach the failure limits, and your stats tank (RRR, win rate) however you manage to make a comeback and complete the challenge successfully. Do really bad days count for wether or not tou pass the challenge? Or is is automatic, where as long as you reach the profit goals without reaching max loss, you are still elegible to advance into the next stage.
Lets review some blown accounts aswell so we get to see what we can improve on.
When will you guys add the rest of the stocks to the challenge and funded accounts ?

Yea,thats right because winrate is opposite RRR !
I believe that guy traded momentum. You can see he opened only long positions on one day and short positions on another day. I think he executed those trades in a few minutes, one after another and let the momentum do the work. That's why there's no sl and tp whatsoever.

I'm wondering if the account size I pay for ($10,000 or $100,000) is the amount I will be funded should I succeed. Does anyone know? There's a price difference between both.

I have a question if you passed the Max Loss no matter you almost reached 500 loss in the daily does it not count the upcoming loss in the daily to your max loss i you have pass already

Would be nice to have more practical videos answering questions such as what happens when you hit the challenge target, is the evaluation made on another account, how will I be informed and what are the next steps after the challenge, how long is the evaluation and what are the minimum trading days etc etc, I'm convinced these infos are all on the website but would be nice to have on YT as well... for me personally seeing reviews of other traders challenges is none of my business and not very instructional nor practical...

Can u interview the person who got 90% win rate
if u challenge urself with 100k account with 10 percent monthly total loss and 5 percent daily loss limit , it will be too hard to achieve the goal. its not about making the money, its about not losing the money. you cant actually trade with 100k. if u trade high lot size it will be too risky and too easy to have loss. even if you re right about a trade and made some money, if u get caught up 10 pip pullback when you first get in the trade it will count loss to ur daily loss limit and monthly loss limit. so u need to trade maximum 2 or 3 lot size to make couple of hundred dollars for 1 trade with less risk. but you also need to make 10k in 1 month to achieve the goal. so you need to have perfect accuracy when u first get in a trade. so you actually can never use 100k account. they want u to use 10 percent of the account and make 10 percent it in 1 month. it seems not so convenient. if u have 10k in your trading account and u can double it in 1 month you actually dont need funds.

You have got an issue on your platform, as I always use SL and TP but there are just some trades that are shown with SL and TP.
About the scaling plan, do I need to keep my part of the 10% profit to have my account scaled or can I withdraw it?

Has anyone tired trading the Daily Timeframe for the FTMO Challenge? I have demoed since April of last year using the Daily. Can it be done?
What type of question is this? Depends on the risk and the number of trades you are able to take from looking at the Daily TF in a 30 day period. However, this really makes no sense. why would you look at the daily only? Just mark your zones and go to lower TF's.
Do you have to have a RRR of at at least 1.00 to get verified?

There is no time limit for it. It really depends on how long the administration process from both sides will be. It can be really fast but it can take some time for sure.

if we entered a trade and modify, metrix doesn't record.

No, you dont fail.. you pass. Some traders make 10% in one or two days. But you still have to trade total 10 days [most people just use small lots to meet that].

Yes, in the month period there will be 22+ trading days, so as long as you have 10% profit before the time is up, you will PASS

Yeah nice to see this win rate 96% or more less but don't see sl and tp is not soo good.I think without sl and tp this is way to lose ftmo account.
Lukasz Adams it's bound to blow up at some point. I'm much more impressed with someone who's hitting 50% with 1:2 RR. Much more robust in the long term but not anywhere near as impressive to the dumb retail crowd.
Some people don’t use stop loss and use mental stop. There is conflict of interest between you and the broker remember that

Why sometimes max daily loss is higher than max loss?
Hi Abdifatah Maal,
It is because the Max Loss is calculated from the Initial Capital. Therefore, on a 100K FTMO Account, your Max Loss will be calculated from the moment you have less than 100K. If you would have on your FTMO Account 107K, and you will have a loss of 2K, you would be in Daily Loss of 2K, but your Max Loss is still 0.

Gives us the feeling that 99% of the candidates pass the challenge with over 90% win rate and a consistency that defies the laws of probability. No negative trades for most of them. So easy and inspiring. Not a risky business after all. Everyone go there and put all your life's savings in that thing.
Actually, 92% of traders fail the challenge, and this is according to FTMO [checkout thread in ForexFactory]. With the last example in the vid being an exception, most of the traders have 40-80% win rate [check prev vids]. They even have a full vid on traders who only lost. Nobody has to put their life savings into anything. Prove to yourself first on demo, then take the challenge [which is basically a 'paid' demo].

You guys are just selling demo account in exchange for huge fee. 10 percent profit target in one month even though you are saying but in reality it's not 10 percent rather it's 100 percent because you are just let them overall loss 10 percent of the account from 100 k account. So big question here then why the rest 90 k money? You are giving 10 thousand dollars control to make 10 thousand dollars profit in one month in real. That means who will participate in this challange he or she need to have a good luck and have to make 100 percent profit target that means 5 percent everyday need to make because 22 days for finishing month in Forex world
This is not realistic Mr . That's why major traders fail and lost their money and u took that money who failed in this process and if someone luckily pass this challange u just take time again to make 50 percent profit target for delaying
