Your channel is ready to hit 100k subs. I am following your channel from when the channel had 20k subs. I learnt so much from your channel and training games are really instructive 👍👍❤️❤️
6:14 is pretty much my reaction a few moves in to every online game. opponent plays some weird aggressive, always hyper aggressive, thing. usually completely unsound as I am prepared for the sound moves in the line and know what to do against those, but i have to think for a bit about whether it's going to create a problem or not.
i absolutely love your channel ... i learnt queens gambit, kings indian and sicilian defense from your channel.. please keep it up and never stop uploading videos
Two thumbs up! I find the Slav to be amusing. My first win against a master was one where he tried a Slav. I won in 21 or 22 moves. Three times he offered a draw and I declined all three. The last time he offered one he said, "This one is purely gratuitous." He resigned a move or two later. It must have been a semi-Slav, emphasis on semi.
I love watching your videos, you're very sympathetic and instructional. Do you think it would be possible to see in the future some videos analysing some lesser known gambits like the Urusov or Calabrese?
Hey Stjepan ( sorry I don't know how to write your name, and it isn't in your channel about info) could you inform your lessons times in UTC / GMT time? I am from Brazil and am not familiar with the time notation you used. Cheers! Keep up with the awesome content!
Ah the Semi-Slav quite an amazing opening. I remember when I was reading Alekhine’s game in his book and reading the commentary in the Euwe Alekhine World Championship matches where they kept playing the Semi-Slav. Have you checked out the book by Erik Kislik Applying Logic in Chess already?
It's not a brilliancy lol, it's not even that good anymore. Black equalises or is better fairly easily, you're clearly just not that high rated and don't play against great people
@@stanleytime9193 Well, what's your rating? I'm 2300 blitz and most of my opponents don't know the critical approach to sidelines. You seem to be everywhere trying to assert your so-called high chess strength and knowledge when you're probably a sun 2000 level player trying to sound smart
nice game! I have a question, i usually play d5 e6 c6 setup aswell to c5 later on. This got me thinking isn't c6 just a waste of time? e6 or Nf6 defends d5 sufficiently and we wanna end up playing c5 anyways. What are your thoughts on this and how can u justify playing c6 first rather then just c7->c5 later on?
You fell back in your old habit of thinking too deeply when the position was still well in theory. Some incorrect play by white led to your win...keep the time management thought at the top of your mental to-do list each time you play rapid.
Your playlist on the london helped me a lot to get from 400 to 700. I know it's not much but it's still progress thanks to you! Keep up the good work!
still it's much harder to blunder playing london than e4
I'm studying the semislav in these days watching your videos, so thanks for this training game too😍
Good luck with the semi slav!
Glad to see this channel reaching 100k, I subscribed to this channel around 40k subs and I knew the channel is going blow up very soon
Thanks mate:)
Lol 40k is pretty good but I was here under 800 subs so BEAT THAT haha

Semi-slav 👍

I like the semi Slav defence... but it's tough to play unless one is theoretically trained in this opening. But very exciting opening
True and true.
Nice game!! Your semi slav videos and this now will give me a weapon against d4!!

Great Video!
17:30 Following your analysis...
Black: h6
White: Nd4
Black: Qb6
White: Nf5
What about Black: Bc5?
I literally won a game with the semi-slav right after watching this video ... Thanks for teaching!
Love those training games, do you have a tournament in the near future?
If the situation improves, there's one starting on March 24th I've applied for.
@@HangingPawns good luck! I hope it works out
I think I would have played Bc5 at some point since you were able to force f3 and He already played h3
I thought about it, but always wanted to castle and play h6 first. Also after Qb1, Bf6 is interesting as his rook is trapped.

I actually looked it up just before the game:D I'm gonna order it today.
Nice game, have you ever faced the 6.Qc2, 6.Bd6 7.g4!!line? I play that with white against the semi-slav and have very good results

I do. Wanna finish the opening series first though.
@@HangingPawns That's great to hear, looking forward to it.
Great video. For us beginners it’d help if you at least briefly finished and explained why they resigned. It’s obvious to you but not us.
When white resigned, white was a piece and pawn down, enough for black to win easily even without other threats black still has in the position.
English opening please
