I am curious about a couple things in this video. I have a Ruko F11 and it has flight parameters, max distance is 600m. Is there a way to get around this setting? Also, rules state you must maintain visual of the drone. Have I misunderstood this requirement in that if you have the app set up and you can see what the drone sees, is that considered the visual? I'm new to drone flying and you did a great job in this video. Loved it.
Mine stops about 200 feet away for some reason
When the FAA say visual line of sight they mean you have to be able to see the drone unaided. Personally I wouldn't try flying a drone this far unless you are somewhere very quiet and don't need lanc authorization to fly.

That's pretty good. I have the SJRC F11 Pro 4K and I'm not very comfortable taking it out much further than 500m or so. The latency of the video transmission gets too much on mine. I like the way it flies though. Maybe it's where I'm flying. There are several cell towers in the area. With the $70 discount the price is fair IMHO.
I like the way you attach an FPV camera on your drones. I'd like to find a video with a list of things needed that work together to do that. It's frustrating to buy something like a camera/receiver only to find the battery has a different connector.

The wifi app is just not reliable sometimes. At least it did let me set the beginner mode off. They should start making these fpv. 🙄 lol

Not a true test when you throw a fpv camera on it.. Most people aren't going to put a fpv camera on it .. Pretty obvious you knew you would lose camera view or you wouldn't have added another camera..

Great videos 📼! I have been in-between the Ruko F11 pro and the HS700 and your videos have been so awesome while researching. I definitely like the range better on the 700E
Avoid the holy stone! Mine just zooms off to the right and loses stick control for no reason! GPS lock on the 700e is also iffy! Now once you get the system working (iffy) it’s flies smooth (very short range) ! Video isn’t bad either for this budget! Battery time was better than I expected! Holy stone just needs to work out their gps issues!

@@armystrongmom I agree with you on the Holy Stone Gps issue. I lost one drone completely and thought it was my fault so I bought another one. It also had major gps issues and almost lost it. I returned it and am now thinking about the Ruko F11 Pro

Thanks!! Any fpv goggles will do the job. If you have the cash, get the more expensive one since you will be using it time and time again. If you get a cheap one, you will have to upgrade.

This is on open territory. Would be interesting to know the range in urban area with houses and trees. Does this model allow moddings like replacing the batteries inside the holder for stronger ones ? Maybe modding the limits set inside the software ?

Look in the description. There's the battery, the vtx and the putty. Buy those three items and simply connect the battery to the vtx, mount it where ever.

The more people complain the less this gadgets are going to be bought you are pushing it for all drones to have built-in remote ID wich will track your drone no privacy at all and if you dont have one you will need to buy one for $200.°° us dls plus $107.°° for 3 years part 107 FAA Licence. $307 add that to the cost of the drone. Plus get that drone registered with the FAA for $5.
So you broke the FAA rules about having an observer standing next to you when you fly FPV. Not sure that is something you want to do as a video on RUclips. Just saying.
