It's 2022 but i still love it🎺
It's 2023 but I still love it🎺
Love me some pipe and band!!! As a baritone /euphonium player...great stuff!
Great job on the Euphonium
good sounding orchestra! Very nice
Lovely rendering. Very moving.
so lovely
Bravissimo!!!
Bravo Sir, BRAVO! BELISSIMO
beautiful dayum
I had to play this piece once to, but this sounds better haha
Why does everything sound better played by some sort of brass ensemble
Because it has THE best bright sound and it’s full of sound in a way it sounds euphoric
Brass is just superior
Som magnífico, parabéns.
What is the name of your band?? It sounds great!
Is there anyway I could buy this arrangement/possibly know the links to it and stuff
Or at least ask my band director to buy it😶

I think it's probably specially written by River City Brass' director, he works directly with the Pipes and Drums director of CMU when organizing these concerts. Maybe get in touch with him?
Great stuf! But who invited the pipes? 😅
I have noticed that you sometimes use valves 1-2, and sometimes 3. I have been trying to switch to 3, but are there times when 1-2 is better?
I'm not a professional, but I use 3 when 1-2 sounds too sharp, but I tend to do 1-2 when the music's fast and it makes sense for the fingering pattern
It’s mostly preferences because in some music, 3 seems easier, usually in fast pieces but use 1-2 when playing slow music since it’s more likely to be in tune
The switches between fingers on the same nodes depends on the instrument, and the individual playing the instrument. You can alsways find thumbrules, but in the end, its all about what works for you.

👌💫 🙏🏻 Nydeleg!!
Love it! Any particular reason for two fingers on valve 1 (at the end)? I'm just learning.
Thanks and yes but unfortunately not a good reason :D Just an unconscious habit :D The whole reason I originally started recording myself was to track my progress and spot habits, good and bad, that I wouldn't when playing myself. Similar to what an external eye (teacher) would do. What you're seeing at the end is sloppy finger technique which is not used to help but rather used because I can get away with it. You are unlikely to see that in more recent videos though. Always work in progress in my mind ;)
