I`m really..SHOCKED. That`s awesome! I just love that sound. Everyone in Flook is extremly skilled and got a perfect technique. I wish i could play the guitar like Ed. Just: WOW!
Two of my favourites as well. Try Mairtin O'Connor, Seamie O'Dowd & Cathal Hayden, they just brought out a new CD recently called Crossroads, great stuff!
Gráda (very similar but with songs too) and Nuala Kennedy's last album,HOMERIC!! The first album's of irish-american group SOLAS with Seamus Egan at flute are great too
at the height of their powers - in any genre - they were simply the greatest live quartet performing on the planet...
the best rhythm section mankind has ever seen, or at least one of them.

@W0bbl344 have ya seen his solos john joe kelly unreal!!
Does anyone know what key this is in. I believe the guitar tuning that Ed Boyd is using is DADGAD but I'm not sure of the key. My guess is A.
WHAT is the make of that awesome sounding bodhran?
he is playing an E flat whistle but normally this tune would be in A because its a highland piping tune
Just a note, they broke up in 2008.
SOBERBIO!!
a quand thundertruck au whistle???? bravo flook
@bagpipediscsdotcom thanks!
is this reel or a collaboration thing they composed?
Reel, composed by Highland piper Gordon Duncan [ RIP ] from Pitlochry.
