It was so fun watching you open that box! What a good friend. We just got told today in Ontario, Canada that we are on stay at home order as well. Disheartening, but hopefully it will be over soon.

Our first trip to Disney was in 1980 and there was only The Magic Kingdom and they were building Epcot. Your friend Michael was probably there that year helping design it.

Agree with Peter - those sketches would be great in frames as a feature all together on a wall. Ikea used to do great frameless one. Nicks OCD could kick in getting them spaced right. Keep out of direct light though. What a great friend to send those to you both..... and the books. Love books - was a librarian before I retired.

We've just been told that 65 and over might get their vaccines by march. Currently it is only being done for 80 and over, plus care homes, medical staff, and government officials. Around 65,000 here and we will be lucky if those of us that want the vaccine get it by the end of the year.

What is and has happened in beautiful USA I cannot see very much tourist trade internationally. I watch from Canada and I am crying as history repeats itself. I pray things will get better both politically and Covid wise.

I was sorry that I could not join you today when this vlog aired on RUclips, I was at Hollywood Studios riding Slinky Dog Dash with friends, I am already getting the next gift box in the mail, love you both, your Florida buddy
I think I’m in the mood for some Disney popcorn right now. I think it’s interesting that both in the apartment and in the Lodge, The washing machine is in the kitchen. That is not something you see all that commonly in the US, so I wonder if that’s a British thing or just a coincidence.
Disney Popcorn! Good job you ran those errands when you did, considering. Also, what a lovely box of books etc and great timing. Think you should consider buying some nice frames with mounts for those sketches and maybe put them up your stairway. Would look great with the Mickey painting and better than keeping them in a journal as you’d see them every day and yet the light wouldn’t fade them, as there’s no windows there. As for the bedding etc I’d get your friend to make a couple of cushions in the same fabric as the bed runner for the bed. Would tie it in and better than just plain cream or whatever. Or you could have bolster (sausage as Leigh called them!) cushions made it in and if you’re still considering getting an occasional chair for the bedroom, get a spare scatter cushion made for that too. Would look very smart. Keep up the good work guys and stay safe. 😷

We shared the sweets out from the halloween haul we got. Gave most of it to the girls and ate a lot in the place we stayed in in florida

Oh thanks for letting me know what the magazine was. I havent got around to looking at it yet but that makes it more exciting knowing what it is. Im reading through a couple of the books at the moment
