I just picked up a similar coat style M65 .. brand new at value Village for $23 two small Pockets at the top two big pillow pockets on the Front Bottom ... a hood that zips up in the collar , drawstring waste, two big pockets in the inside with a smaller pocket built onto the one pocket ...Arm sleeves have snaps .. so you can cinch the sleeves titer , coat doesn't have the shoulder Strips Same color . Oh yeah lol made by Old Navy

Cool jacket thanks for the review. Glad you reviewed the measurements. I had one similar issued in 1990. It had a hood with the worst quality fake fur I've ever seen. Unbuttoned it and wore all the time...I preferred it to the issued gore tex.

I checked out a Rothco M65 today at a local army navy store. The quality was fair at best. My 1977 Dutch Field Jacket, which is beginning to show its age, is far superior.

I don't dispute that. I think this is just a mass production (replica) by Rothco. By no means I am suggesting that is is a real military issue.

Of course the originals are better.

I bought my M65 new in the 80’s. The military M65s are waterproof.

Rathco is not a military clothing contractor and they don't make a good product I have a good collection of the real m65 jackets and they are all the real deal.

Does it run true to size? I'm 5'10, 167lbs w/ a fairly regular build. Usually medium fits me just fine

They run pretty large, so you should go one size down - small should do it. I am 5'9 178lbs and jacket in small is a perfect fit. Thank you for watching.

I see. Does that change if you're planning to use a liner underneath?

Good point. I personally don't use the liner but this is something to consider, meaning you might need extra space. @@lucca.siqueira

You are probably a small, regardless of the liner.
