This craft only takes about 20 mins and uses a subway tile you can pick up at any home hardware store. It is an inexpensive and great project if you are a beginner to Cricut.

I love how easy you make it look 😍 question the ask me but just the name the first letter a different color than the rest how would I do that?
I was thinking of i. Jimmy
Where do I purchase the tile
Hello I was wondering if you had any problems cutting the names out and what setting did you use? My cricut keeps tearing the names up while cutting I even changed the needle thanks
I agree. I have watched several today until I found this one. However, I hor an error saying the project wasn't compatible with my current machine Explore air 2
I recieved 4 of these for mom/grandma dad/poppa ones and i need ideas on displaying them together, not on plate holders.....
Perfect tutorial!
Love this! What size is this tile?
Love this tutorial! New subbie. How do you get the commercial license?
fyi you have to install true type fonts for windows
Very easy tutorial, can this be done with a Cameo 3 machine. Tfs
I just ordered my cricut ❤ I just subscribed to your channel.... I don't have a computer can I do this on my phone? Thank you in advance
Awesome video..... i brought titles a while ago to try but was too nervous. Does the [|] work only with that glitter font? Cause i don’t like that font and using a different one, but those aren’t working with the font i picked
This was a great video presentation, thank you!! How did you prepare your tile for the vinyl to stick?
I didn't do anything to it but you could wipe it down with some rubbing alcohol if you want to make sure it's clear of debris.
You don't have to have commercial lisence. I know alot of people who sell these and dont have a lisence on etsy amazon etc. It's good to have but they won't take your project. It just like my sister sells custom tumbler and didn't have a lisence when she first started.
This is helpful, but I'm missing something. When I go to "make it", mine isn't on two mats. I didn't weld them together.
a question for anyone who has made one for themselves. How do you display it, hanging or standing?
What’s the type of tile you used?
i’m pretty sure it’s subway tile
It's a subway tile you can purchase at the hardware store. I know they're out in a lot of places but you just need to find the 3x12 one. I know people make them with all different sizes and colours though! Something like this: rstyle.me/+caGyn22ysOlin--1dXGmfw
This looks so cool, my question is can you seal this so the stickers don’t come up? If so what could I use? Thanks for this video
I didn't seal them but you could use mod podge or polycrylic if you wanted to seal it.
Pocket Wonders thank you.
What size tile is this
Super newbie Cricut Maker ( owner) question...How do you know which word Cricut will cut out first? (If that makes sense)..
What do you use for backing of tile and how do you hang or display?
well done instructions! do you teach?
Question....buying a commercial font off of da font is it only for 1 specific font or does the licence work for all downloaded fonts off their website?
It would be easier to reverse weed the MOM font. Just something I learned from another tutorial. I pretty much only reverse weed now.
Thank you so much! Do you know why my letters are tearing apart?
how do i get permit to make it and sell do u have a link
I have a cricut joy? Are the measurements the same ? Please teach me !
Thank you!
Hi, where did you get that big roll of cricut vinyl from? I've never seen it come in a box before.
Do you apply any type of seal over the finish product?
I didn't use a seal. But you can use mod podge (amzn.to/2yfDSNs) or polycrylic (amzn.to/2zauACb) to seal it.
Do you have another link for the font commercial license the one you have posted no longer works...looks like not the only one asking for it. Thanks
Thanks for catching that! Here you go! www.creativefabrica.com/product/i-love-glitter/ref/378871/
I have done 4 of these and every time I get bubbles under the vinyl. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Barbara, Do you start applying the vinyl from 1 side lightly and then smooth it with the scrapper tool?
Why do you need a license? For the style of the letters ?
what about for mobile?
This was pretty good. I've been doing a few projects so I understand the basics. The directions were alittle choppy at the beginning but overall great guide
How are you able to type in Font Book? Mine doesn't do it
The commercial license is no longer available to buy.
Does it have to be the green painters tape, or can you use the blue?
Blue is fine! 👍
I am working on Windows 10. I see the I love Glitter font, but not the swashes. How do I find them on a Windows machine?
Follow these steps:
1) Go to "Character Map" (type it in the Windows search bar by your start button)
2) Find the font at the top (you will now see the basic swashes)
3) Under "Group by" (second last drop-down), select "Unicode Subrange". This will bring up a new window.
4) Scroll all the way to the bottom and select "Private Use Characters". You should see the alternative glyphs now! :)
@@PocketWonders If you don't have the Private Use Characters where do you go get those.
Goodnight, don't know if you can help me out! But I got lost in the ending, I weld all the words together, press make it and on my mat everything was it on. Whilse on your screen I saw that your words were on different mats. Where did I went wrong? #newbie
If you weld letters together it means you’re making them a single/cut same color. If you want it to cut on two mats or as two separate cuts (if you look at Hers the mom and the other writing are in two different colors) just weld together the writing u want in the center of the large word so that that prints as one cut. Hope that makes sense sorry
When downloading the font and using to sell, do you have to buy the commercial license for each separate font? Or do you buy it and you can use it for many different ones?
All fonts have different licences. The commercial license for I love glitter is only for I love glitter. Once you buy the licence you can sell anything you make with that font. Times New Roman is free.
@@PocketWonders gotcha!! Thank you so much!
I know I'm late on this, but the tile listed in your links is no longer available. Do you have a link for a replacement for that?
Thanks for catching that. Try this one: rstyle.me/+3pUeK6vyl-cOiK3QCKnO6Q
Does the painter tape have to be green?
Nope you can use blue as well. :)
you explain great, but im not being able to use my computer only through my phone...and im having a hard time trying to size etc....help
Lakeside Kennel same
Where do u get the tile
I got mine from Lowe’s
I thought you put the vinyl shiny side down. Now I’m confused
That’s for iron on vinyl :)
