The flear was very blue. Too strong. I’ve never tested those lenses.

Could you please make a comparison of anamorphic lenses for iPhone 15 from different manufacturers? Or to say what in your opinion there are pros and cons of different lenses.

That ulanzi rig seems like they don’t make it anymore.

Can you do a video on what you have for the iPhone 15 pro max for film making and what you’d recommend? Because I noticed your rig and everything is different compared to the older model phones

I love all the new lenses but for me who's already invested in m - lenses from moment, its really challenging for me to jump into a system thats proprietary I have to give up my polar pro case with the grip and all my nd filters aren't compatible because either the magnet or the slide mount its a whole thing, that not only if I upgrade my phone I have to upgrade all my lenses and cases, and now that they are heavier I have to upgrade my gimbal because I dont think my smooth 5s can handle the new weight the new fisheye lens from the T-series is almost 260g on its own, so then where do you draw the line with mobile film making, also the cost of the lenses, I think for a full set of lenses you can get one canon L lens probably a 24-105L f4 or a 28-70 f2 or 24-70 f2.8 and one anamorphic lens, to cover the bases, so then the only benefit would be to be incognito like at a concert or something, its so interesting to me because the line between smartphone film making Is crossing into the other side and theres alot of great things going for it, but then again at what expense, for me I love it because of the interface, the computational photography and the easy sharability and connecting with others but I'm not so sure I can jump on a new set of lenses when the size is rival to my smaller aps-c lenses and then get at least a bigger sensor and then if I really want to share it, then plug in the usb c on my iPad and air drop it to everything else... I know its one extra step but if I'm just a student that's my only option right now unless I take out a loan..
but thats why I like how you focus on the individual lenses because the 13mm ultra wide is good enough, the tele is good not great but still good, so the best lens to focus on is the anamorphic and for an anamorphic look on a gimbal this is something you cannot beat, and the fact you can use filters is incredible, thats my favourite out to this entire set!
thank you for sharing this with us I have to start thinking which lenses are important to me instead of getting every single lens
I think so far, anamorphic, and tele lens would be great. for ultra wide ill stick to an action camera or 360 camera, and then standard lens is already perfect
the macro I like as well, and maybe fisheye to play around with but the stabilization conflicts with that lens so many options its really awesome to see!!

That’s one thing I really like about these lenses is they have a universal 17mm mount. So you can use their case or any case/cage that accepts that which there are many on the market.

@@iphoneographers okay thats what I'm liking to hear, so I'll keep my M-lenses and opt for a 17mm system or do you prefer 37mm ?
my question is: what do you recommend
I have every moment lens, M series, and 12 pro max and 13 regular, both with small rig m series cages, I'd like to upgrade for the future, either the 15PM or just get a 13PM so I have the pro motion and pro res or even 14 PM , but I'm leaning towards 17mm vs 37mm
which system do you find is the best nd filter adaptation? I'd like to use my old 37mm 52mm or 67mm nd filters without having to buy a 77mm or 87mm adapter or step up like moment, is there an easy way to have new generation lenses without having to have the proprietary magnet filter?
my favourite is the anamorphic and tele lenses and third would be a wide or fisheye lens that I'd like to see if I could adapt a nd filter system or mist filter what are the options out there
thank you so much I enjoy and look forward to every single one of your videos you've helped me immensely and brought me so much joy during the times my family has been going through emergencies and your kindness doesn't go unnoticed thank you for inspiring me to be happy and learn more about film making with the tools that I have

For using my own external ND, my favorite lenses are Beastgrip for sure. Very straightforward versus having to use adapters and such. Those are 37 mm. But don’t get me wrong, I like the other brands too for different reasons. I actually just did a pretty detailed write-up about that exact topic… www.iphoneographers.tv/post/next-gen-iphone-lenses

Would be nice if a company developed some type of lens or filter to get rid of the lens flare on the 15 pros cameras at night, that would be helpful to a lot of people

Yeah, you can get rid of it using a DOF adapter, but that’s definitely not for everyone. It does seem better though.
