Thank you David, a helpful video, i received my kickstarter I added two filters later and I couldn’t work out how on earth they were going to fit as they are bigger than the lens. I think maybe it could have been made a bit clearer that I needed the step up rings. Ho well I guess I just have to wait for them to go on sale, I would have ordered at the time though… keep up the good work I enjoy your videos 👍

My wide and case is coming tomorrow! Can’t wait! Hope you get the rest of the range and filters up for regular purchase. Also, kudos for choosing a non proprietary mount.

Hi David, watching your videos I have a doubt, for long-exposure photography is it better a CPL filter maybe combined with an ND or better a VND filter to be able to set the stops?

Thank you DAvid, but I'm still confusing on how to use the adapter with the thread in the center...

You attach that one directly to the case. It allows you to use your filters without a G-Series lens.

Regarding the telephoto lens, it does not function when I attach it to the main wide camera lens, which on my iphone 13 pro is the lower left lens. It only works when I attach it to the upper left lens which I believe is the telephoto lens. I also must set the lens in the either Reeflex or Lightroom Mobile app to telephoto, not wide. Not sure why these steps for me to get the lens to function are not the same as your instructions ?

Hi, I'm wondering can I have a VND filter infront of the CPL filter?

    • @ReeflexCamera

Hi, yes - you can stack the CPL filter on our VND filters.

I just took delivery of the macro lenses and was immediately confused by where do these lenses mount to as they can be screwed to at least two lenses of the iPhone 15 pro.
Why can’t REEFLEX put a chart out on their web site that gives the information per iPhone model? Isn’t that easier than messing around with your finger in front of lenses? Or am I misunderstanding something about how apple manufacture their phones, such as each individual phone has a unique main camera? Surely that’s not the case?

    • @ReeflexCamera
      @ReeflexCamera  6 месяцев назад +1

That’s exactly the case. The configuration of the iPhone’s cameras changes between one iPhone generation to another. If you got further questions please reach out to us at: support@reeflexstore.com

@@ReeflexCamera could you please publish the location of the main camera for each generation on your website for the benefit of your customers? I found that the main camera for the iPhone 15 pro is the bottom one from another RUclipsr.

Can I use the ReExpose app to do the same thing? I can't get the standard app to do what you were demonstrating (the finger test) on the iphone 15 pro.

      Hi NX,
you need to make sure to use a third-party camera app featuring manual controls to select the correct camera where the lens is screwed on.
As written on our website we suggest using our REEFLEX PRO CAMERA for full control and compatibility: apps.apple.com/app/reeflex-pro-camera/id1550960155

Does reexpose app allow you to do this? As I already have it.

@@nxu5107all our apps offer full manual controls but they serve differ use case.
Reeflex Pro Camera provides full manual controls and two capture modes: the classic "still" photography mode in most formats (including JPG, HEIF, TIFF, ProRAW and Bayer RAW) and the Slow Shutter modes for long exposure photography in compressed formats (JPG and HEIF). Both modes utilise Apple's Smart HDR capabilities for the compressed formats, allowing you to nail the best exposure in each shot.
ReeXpose provides full manual controls and is uniquely focused on Bayer RAW long exposure photography, producing a single full 12-bit DNG file, for broader dynamic range, unparalleled editing capabilities and best image quality. Ideal for big prints and professional long exposure photography, strictly requiring editing in post-production.
ReeHeld is a point-&-shoot camera app designed for capturing long exposure photos on the go, without the need for a tripod, producing photos in JPG format. ReeHeld let’s you shoot LE photos handheld, providing incredibly sharp results thanks to AI-powered smart image alignment. Thanks to Apple's Smart HDR, the photos captured are extremely well balanced and can be easily shared with your fellow photographers, right out of the app - not necessarily requiring editing.

@@ReeflexCamera many thanks. I’ll try to use the reexpose app and see how it goes. I’ve logged a support call as well as I can’t seem to focus using the long range macro lens on anything at any distance. I desperately want to just take pictures of flowers and insects.

Anything you put in front of a lens always degrades its quality. It's no different with iPhone lenses. Just like a good filter doesn't improve the quality of a bad lens. Everything else is just marketing.

This video clearly isn’t for you and your comment doesn’t address the purpose of the video. One might say it’s irrelevant. Everything else is just being nice.
