What a performance from Manika Batra! Surely she is inspiring thousands of TT players in India through her international and national performances! While this is going to take few years or maybe even a decade - the INDIANS ARE COMING for TT - just like they did for Badminton through the last 10-12 years. India will achieve a competitive level to rub shoulders with China, Japan, Germany, Sweden and South Korea in TT within a few years. That is going to be a good thing for the world of TT if a country of 1.4 billion will discover the excitement of TT in a big way!

The strategy to use against Batra is to constantly alternate the return between forehand/backhand. Good chance she will either 1) be caught with the wrong twiddle, 2) out of position play backhand from forehand side, or 3) forced to play with inverted, which is weaker than average.
Apart from Liu Fei, Qian Tianyi is the most attractive female player in the chinese team imo... Sadly she has not really broken through yet and there are a lot of younger players who will take her spot in the team, if she does not win anything of major importance soon.

Qian has got injured just because of your unreasonable schedule in Feeder Doha. She only got 150 points after playing 14 games in three days but had to withdraw from Contender Doha and played in a bad form in Star Contender Doha. Also Xu Haidong and Xu Yingbin both withdrew from the two competitions due to injury. I really hope you can reconsider your arrangement🤡 Athletes are not machines.
Oh that's why she didn't play in the WTT Contender, I was looking for the reason. It seems really tough to progress in the world ranking with WTT Feeder, a player with the lvl of Qian Tianyi should focus of WTT Contenders / Star Contenders rather than Feeder.

Maybe ctta thought Qian should strive for good results in Feeder Doha and Contender Doha, and let their top players such as Chen Meng to compete for the champion in Star Contender while Qian just needs to do her best. However they didn’t consider the tight schedule that WTT arranged in Feeder Doha🤯

Liu also played 14 games in three days in Feeder Doha. She wasn’t at good form either and lost to Yang Huijing whose ability is much weaker than hers in the first round of Contender Doha. So they two didn’t perform well in doubles.
ladies and gentlemen this is where the real challenge lies...I HAVE UTMOST RESPECT FOR THE INDIANS who won medals in Olympics, commonwealth games etc. WE should support them instead of supporting fraud ass sportsperson like Rohit sharma, Kl Rahul etc. Indians need to wake up and ban fraud cricketers like them....Still IPL is popular in Indian even though India has been choking for 9 years now....

This was outstanding example of how pips can beat boring inverted and chinese dominance with strategy, variety, power and grace. Table tennis was founded on pips not inverted. Beautiful TT and a Beautiful Player!!
