My 40 year old self just dropped a tear or 2 hearing her thank Prime. Like Prime said, it started from Humble beginnings and she is flourishing with her new opportunities that Prime has afforded her. It’s not just her. Prime is providing many of them with opportunities that they wouldn’t have received in life if it wasn’t for him. Very disrespectful comment considering the racial wealth gap between black and white people in the USA, considering white America outnumbers Black America in raw numbers, considering racism in corporate America that refuses to give an equal financial investment in HBCU'S as vs. white institutions, considering how the states purposely underfund HBCUS. You come across as being naive and ignorant about the inequality that exist among HBCU'S and PWIs and living in fantasy land that we actually have equal access to resources as predominantly white institutions to provide the same salaries and perks. All around dumb comment. Jackson gave him the best contract out of all HBCU FCS schools. It was loaded with perks. Furthermore, no one fired his son from media at JSU that would be racist Colorado, so he had control of that as well, let's add that even Deion couldn't get his own connects to give more than a few thousand direct into the JSU athletic fund but you expect non celebrities to have more pull than Deion to get better deals in order to have the revenue to keep him. He was permitted to do what other Power 5 coaches do to earn revenue and he did those things without JSU interfering and Deion did not get any success to have one of his sponsors to cut a check higher than 100, 000 dollars and put directly into the athletic fund not even under armour. If they did cut a check, I bet it hit barely close to two million and that's tied to their clothing deal. You folks confuse donations in uniforms and contracts for travel awards and perks as hard cold cash. Lol! Deion's own sponsor, Gillette only coughed up 100, 000 bucks to give directly to the athletic fund and it's a billion dollar corporation. Under Armour did not give independent of their contract with JSU and I can bet it wasn't close to the 25 million the owner gave to his own alma mater, and let's not forget proctor and gamble, American airlines, nor even his friend who donated uniforms but didn't cut checks in the upper millions past 10 million plus, and what about all Deion's homies and celebrity friends he was hosting and didn't donate a damn thing to JSU's athletic fund for revenue to cover the salary to keep him? Why aren't they taking note. Don't blame a school for what sorry suspected white supremacists and rich black sellouts refused to give. Show and prove all this damn money that's in the pocket of JSU from Deion's efforts that they could give more to keep him. You can't. Also, it's not the school's sole responsibility to pay those multimillion dollar deals. Those coaches get most of their pay from corporate sponsors, media deals, summer football camps, recruitment camps, ticket sales, bowl wins, and so on. Coaches are just as much responsible for thei salaries as the schools they coach in. Deion even admitted not being very successful in bringing in the bucks directly into the athletic fund and he lied about alumni giving too. Deion didn't leave because of not being given the perks of being kept anyway. He left for a bigger and more respected stage and platform. Smdh.

Close to 40 years ago I was in Colorado on vacation and decided to make a drive through Boulder. Had to see the campus. Even made a visit to the stadium and climbed the stairs to the highest level. What a beautiful venue to watch a football game. The entire campus was pretty. I'm sure there have been lots of changes since then tho. I will be following the program next year. Coach Sanders will be successful there....no doubt.
